With the first 4 Nokia's above, there was very little,(if any) extra functionality added. As far as I could tell, it was pure cosmetic changes, lol.

I was bored as well, so here my history of mobile phones. Enjoy.

Htc 8125

I had an HTC 8125, it was a great phone for its time, I waited three years for the 3G to arrive

I just had to think about the past which models i actually have had. Still have 3109, W850i, 9300i and of cos iPhone wich i got yesterday.

- Siemens C25 (traded for 3210, this was so lightweight i thought i had dropped it.)
- Nokia 3210 (traded to 3310, bit heavy but had a clock wich i needed)
- Nokia 3310 (gave to friend whose phone broke down, this phone was really good)
- Samsung E720 (sold, this one was lightweight as well, never liked the "OS/GUI" on this one!)
- Nokia 3100 (workphone, broke this one, dropped this under a truck at work)
- Nokia 3109 classic (workphone, not using)
- Sony Ericsson W850i (bought used, great "OS/GUI" not using anymore)
- Nokia 9300i (got this for free, slightly damaged, not using)
- Nokia E51 (about to sell this to my sister's boyfriend to finance the iPhone)
- iPhone 3G 8Gb (simfree from poland)

I had one of these

It was Poo! the 'touch' interface so slow and at times thought i'd be breakingthe screen with the amount of pressure i was using to push the darn screen

Slvr

I too, had the SLVR. Love the CandyBar from factor. Sliding and flipping just add one more hinge or connection to break. Not a bad little phone.

Seriously, my first - a brick - well the Uk equivalent anyway. Then a series of awfully clumsy Nokias, the excellent but weighty Treos for years, and then the inevitable iPhones.

I had a crappy motorola monochromatic phone at first, then

The SE T610

follwed by the SE s700

and then up until the iPhone 2G (waited in line for it with friends and gf) and my now current 3G was the w600i:

all of which had photo, internet, video, mp3 etc capabilities for roughly the past 6-8 years. The T610 was way ahead of it's time, the s700 was beautiful and clearly set the tone for the huge screen single button form factor that the iPhone has perfected, and the w600 was the most durable and functional piece of equipment I've ever owned (I've thrown it on stage at prodigy and 311 concerts constantly). I loved that phone, still have it, but can't function without my iPhone!
