I got the palm Treo 680 from AT&T when it first came out in November 2006, then in January 2008 I got the Wine colored Blackjack 2. I finaly got the iPhone when the 3G came out in July 2008.
I really loved the treo and blackjack, still have the treo just in case something bad were to happen with the iPhone. I sold the blackjack about a month after getting the iPhone.
Unless Apple does something better to allow better business apps into the app store (PIM programs) and ability to sync other than wifi, I may switch back to a windows mobile, palm or even try a blackberry when my contract allows another discounted phone this December.
I love the iPhone, but all the hoops I've had to jump through just to get a halfway decent task list and calendar app running the way I like has been unacceptable when Palm, Windows Mobile and Blackberry products deliver right out of the box for a lot less money. Even after all that, it's still not as seemless as what the others offer. Used to be it was a seemless sync with Outlook, now I have to sync with several different services who then have to sync with Outlook, or, in some cases I just have to type eerything 2 or 3 times because some sync conduits won't work with Outlook if you have others trying to do so as well.
