I love it as well. Sure, it's more of the same, but that's not a bad thing! We all know where apple truly excels is with their OS and fluid ecosystem. It's not something I find on other phones and it's all I really need from a smart phone. An insane resolution, wireless charging, extreme water resistant abilities, none of that really means much to me.
Plus, Apple is not the only company that slllloooowwwly changes their products.

Those that have complaints always make more noise than those who don't. It's no different than iOS and macOS. They just need to come post and be heard.

I love my 7 Plus. It's fantastic and that's coming from a 6s.

I went from a 6S Plus silver to 7 Plus in black. Screen is somewhat warmer, but pleasingly so. Went from 64GB to 128 GB. I really don't need that much space, but I like to have it,should I need it.

I love the new home button. I love lift to wake. Call quality much better. I have three headphones and not bothered by the loss of the headphone jack. I purchased two added adapters. Wifi is slightly weaker as measured by the number of bars, but if no real consequence. Great phone in my opinion. I wish Apple had come out with new wallpapers. I'm using the Apple tan leather case with the black phone. Check out that combination. I find the case to be have a great feel. Neither slippery nor nor hard to grip. Comfortable in the hand. For me, it offers a good balance of protection and elegance.

Let me take this opportunity to thank the staff at the Apple WTC store, who did a great job and were so helpful. The Apple Upgrade Program, has many glitches, as it starts its second year, but I am confident that Apple will work on addressing these.

Let me also thank all the staff st Apple Corporate who have found the time to be responsive to emails regarding launch and Apple Upgrade issues. It is great to see such a high level of commitment to the customer and the product experience.

Most people won't write about how good something is. They'll only write about something when they have something to complain about. That's why you don't see threads around the internet about how great and awesome internet providers are. People only find a reason to speak up when they're experiencing a problem, but don't feel the need to write when everything is going smoothly.
Exactly. +1

So anyone with 7 or 7 plus... how does ear speaker compare to previous generation? I know the 7s have "stereo speakers" but is ear speaker any louder than before? Speaker phone noticeably louder? I always have a hard time hearing on my 6s Plus when I'm not on speaker phone. Any insight?

Much improved over my 6. That was always something I had an issue with. I could hear people very clearly and louder on my new 7

Yes I agree way too many complainers out there. It's so cool to hate on apple but guess what?? Apple still makes the best products. I've yet to have issues with an apple product and I've used apple products for 15 years religiously. I am really liking ios10 and the warmer (more accurate) screen is nice. Android may have more features but apple does things better that are essential. I always have preferred use of safari and love iTunes compared to other offerings. I rather things be done slower but done the right way by apple!

Wife and I cam from 5S and 5C. Love em.

nice upgrade! Those are the best right. I commend you both for keeping your phones and getting good use of them. I commend anyone who isn't so materialistic they MUST have the new phone on day one. I understand, a few people collect. But others are just spoiled and need to realize there is way more to life than a new phone !

I ordered 7+ coming from a 6+ and it isn't supposed to be here until the first week of October. I'm fine with that... i mean i'm using an amazing phone right now, it's not like i'm using some flip phone i bought at walmart or something

I feel like there isn't anything but complaints so I wanna see if anyone likes their phone?

Well the people with complaints will complain and post here loudly, hoping that Apple will fix things right away if they scream loud enough. And those people that are perfectly happy with their new phones…. are going to say nothing.

That's how it's always been.

I love everything about it... apart from the physical size, but that's really just down to personal hand size & being so used to the 5s.

The visual design, the screen, the way iOS10 runs, the home button, the camera, the (inevitable but not had it long enough to fully experience) better battery life, the general speed, the extra storage (256 compared to my 65gb 5s), etc.

I'll give it another week of full use before I decide whether to go back to the 5s, but it'll only be due to size, nothing else. I can't fault the actual phone. So much hate for the sake of hate it seems, people comparing speed tests by 10ths of seconds like its a F1/MotoGP race!

If by the next phone they can trim off all the extra bezel girth and have this size screen tucked into a 5/5s/se sized phone, it'll be perfection. Until then, iPhone 7 = a great phone.

People literally complain about everything. I'm happy with mine, coming from the 6.
I came from a 6 also, I was expecting a bigger jump. My 6 is still on 8.3, so its as quick as it will go.

I mainly upgraded to smooth out stutters and I'm seeing them in places I'd rather not. (scrolling, open/close apps, etc). Thankfully no memory reloads or audio stutters....my 6 was terrible with that.

I like my iPhone 7, don't love it. It's not night over day between the 6S and 7S, but it's a fair upgrade.

OIS
Slightly better longer-lasting battery
Improve camera flash

Moving up from a 6+ to a 7 (not +)...........so much better, speed, screen, camera, and of course iOS 10. I think perhaps the thing I've noticed the most is the snappiness in unlocking the phone and opening programs. Also my 6+ was always in a case because of its slippiness, but this jet black 7 is naked as the day it was born and feels much more handleable, almost sticky and safe.

I like mine as well, iOS 10 still needs some more refinement, there are times where it lags and hangs

I like it. Last year I preordered a 6s 128 GB. Retuned it couple days later at apple store because I did
not like the battery life. Now I have the 7 32GB, and the battery life seems pretty good. Looks like I'm
going to keep it at least until next year.

I like it but it's really not that much of an upgrade over the 6S. Apple better get their **** together for the 8 and give us a bezel-less screen, better battery capacity, 4K display, wireless charging, fast charging - basically everything Samsung has included in their premium flagship phone.

Enough of the recycled, rehashed iPhone year in and year out.

I don't think Apple will do a 4K display - ever on a smartphone but I see them doing a 4.7" 1080p and larger 5.5" a QHD display(2K).
