you can unlock with one click of the button using TouchID. Press the home button to wake the phone and leave your finger on the scanner for a moment;)

I know, but it was even faster the old way. And my old double click worked when the phone was asleep, so with two quick presses of the Home button I was getting what I need. Waiting for Touch ID to authenticate seems to take forever.....:D

We're kinda screwed as far as apple pay is conferenced, no?

I run daily and and the arm band I use won't work with the finger print scanner obviously and its a huge pain to type in the code while I'm running, so I've never wanted to use a pass lock on my phone.

I noticed when you set up apple pay it turns it on automatically, and disabling it not only disables Apple pay, but deletes all your cards too.... So if you want Apple pay, you're going to have to have your phone locked at all times and I hate this

iPod... ;)

I would get extremely annoyed at having to enter a passcode each time.

That's why TouchID is brilliant. 99% of the time, you don't need to do more than touch and hold the Home button. I have mine set up for right index finger, right thumb and left thumb. It will unlock basically any way I grab the phone.

I guess I should have stated this in my OP... BUT

Yes, I know this is definitely a first world problem, and I'm not "complaining" per say, just kind of wondering if there was something I could do (and to have it not auto lock is an idea I like)

I use my phone because I listen to pandora and use the Nike running app, so I can't use an iPod, as I need data. Honestly, I only get into my phone to pause the running app, which I only do twice... So it's not a huge deal.. And the Touch ID is fast enough for me to where I wasn't too worried about having to use it, but I can't use it when it's in my running band.

I just personally wish that in order to get into your passbook settings, you need to unlock via passcode or touch id. Not sure why you have to lock your entire phone. Seems like something they could change.

People can't buy anything without my touch ID anyways, I don't really care if they can get into my phone other than that. That was a slight risk I was willing to take for convenience, but I will adapt.

Is it possible to configure the app so you can access it through the lock screen? Probably not, but thought I'd ask...
