Another vote for the 4/4S.
Currently have the 5 and love it for its speed, LTE and 4 inch screen but I do miss the durability and feel of the 4. For some strange reason I liked the heft of the 4, it felt nice and substantial. Also, I had my 4 for almost two years without a case and it was still flawless when I sold it in December. In contrast, my 5 looks like it went through WWII (dents, scratches, blemishes) with the exact same usage, in just 4 months.
Luckily Apple just replaced my 5 for an screen issue I was experiencing and I have since placed the new one in a case even though I liked it much better naked; I'm just doing that to keep a good resale value for the next upgrade.
