download copytrans, and use the free tool called copytrans manager
simple drag and drop! ;)

This worked for me. It's a solution I'll use until iTunes 11.1 comes out.

My library is kinda weird after restoring the iCloud backup though. All my old songs shows, but it keeps blinking and stuff. I guess it will fix itself once i sync my music normally again though!

Your old songs will show up but when you play them it will skip through all of them then it will be deleted . After that you just use the Copytrans Manager which was stated a few posts back and then everything will be good.

Mine doesn't get deleted. It's no problem though, I can survive with a couple of albums until next wednesday! :)

I don't think we're doing that any more.

But to answer your question using my coworkers as an example, developers enlist their friends and family to help test apps. And those developers are very good at getting people excited and telling them how to install the beta / GM, but they aren't so good at warning them about the problems that will crop up and to not use it on their daily driver. The sad part is that these willing victims don't have the expertise to work themselves out of the hole.

I know, this covers about 0.1% of the non-devs that have problems but the forum is better when empathy is extended without question.

AGREED. Lets just quit with the elitist "I'm a developer and you aren't and why are you running a beta bulls**t". It's tired and people around here are doing what they are doing because they like to try beta software and can. Leave them alone. If you don't want to help don't come here and go back into your hole.

::steps off soapbox::

Since iTunes refuses to service your phone once you download the GM for some reason.

Try downloading it directly from IOS 7 over wifi.

Oh and a friendly reminder: IOS 7 is still pre-release which means if you bring it in to Apple right now with IOS 7 on it you will void your 1 year warranty!

That's funny since Many people on this forum have had apple stores fix and even replace devices running iOS 7 in beta. Your warning is meaningless.....
