They still haven't fixed anything yet. It's still showing financed. They keep saying it's now showing that it's being financed or connected to a account on there end. But when I tell them to go to t mobile imei check website then they see it and still say it's alright because it's not showing to be on any account. I really don't trust that. It should show paid off like before.

So you want them to take a charge off when you still have the phone. Just because they did it last it doesn't mean things didn't change. If you're that paranoid then get a receipt when you send it. Problem solved

T-Mobile is the most honest out of the big carriers. They're always glad to unlock my paid off phones for me. I have the sim free iPhone 6 so I didn't have to do any unlocks anyway since they sell their iPhones unlocked when you pay full price.

Just send back the phone and if anything goes wrong (highly doubt) you can provide your receipt and they will unlock it. Most likely they will just unlock it as soon as they get your phone. Stop fighting over something that doesn't need fighting.

Ok so funny thing happened. I called T-Mobile one more time Monday and complained about it and they suggested to send out another since the imei was showing financed. So they I received a new one and it's not showing financed anymore and it's showing paid off and all. I'm so glad I was able to get that fixed because it was bothering the hell out of me lol.
