I actually started recording video on my i6 and started pressing the screen during it.

heres a video so you can see it

Judging by my terrible eyes, it DOES look to have a very very minor play on the screen going up and down when pressed. its so thin its hard to tell though. but my video i took clearly sounds like there is an issue

I had that on my 5S's. I think all of them, all the replacements had it. Drove me nuts, but then I just gave up on that. My 6 is free of this annoying clicking. Finally!

OP: I recorded a video and tapped the screen which made the same noise. The noise was from tapping the screen. I guess the only way to know if this is normal is to take it in and show Apple. I don't sense any play on my iPhone.

I have this exact issue. near the volume buttons. Its not as major as these videos, but i CAN feel it, and hear it. Even a few coworkers confirmed it's not just me losing my mind.

Anyone else experiencing this? I have a genius bar appointment on Thursday..

Apple genius appointment and they will sort it out!

Seriously, stop hitting the reply button if you're going to be like that. It just shows ignorance.

Well other than the noise, if you push slowly near the volume buttons, i CAN feel it moving so i know its not me being heavy fingers

My experience with Apple iPhone 6, this is my letter to Applecare:

On Monday I received the replacement device for my iPhone 6. As you can see from my case, I have replaced this phone 1st time in Service center 14.05.2015 (when I have been using the faulty phone that had the front camera shifted for 1/2 a year). After this I have been receiving replacement devices which all were faulty more than 8 times with all different sort of problems, but mostly front camera crescent, cracks, some objects inside front camera and moving screen. Apple service center has checked and confirmed each and every fault I have had.

Since I felt that the Service center cannot help me, I returned the device directly to you - Applecare. You replaced the phone 3 times. Sending brand new faulty phones back to me. In total I spent 60 days replacing the production wasters.

The phone I have now, this replacement, has the screen not fitted properly, so it moves when gently press on it near the volume buttons (I went into a shop today and checked other phones there, they don't do that of course) ..

Now I am not sure if the camera will shift forming a crescent in near future or anything else bad will show up to the replacement you sent me.. But what I am absolutely sure is that Apple iPhone 6 is the worst quality product I have ever had and there is no point really in replacing the phone, since it comes back faulty with the same or some other problem. Except a strong feeling that I want to have a quality product Apple promises, but doesn't deliver.

So, basically, even though you have replaced the device more than 10 times, I am very unhappy with the result, since I still have a faulty device. It is working for now, so I will replace it later (probably) as well as (probably) place a complaint to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre, but I am just sick and tired of the process for now and can't be bothered on paying the lawyer and spending any more time on this currently.

So, truly, this is the worst device I have ever had. Since it is faulty to start with and it gets replaced by factory wasters.

I can only throw out the phones of course, but that is stupid and does not really make sense, since it is quite expensive, as well as I bought everything Apple last year November - phones, iPad, tv, airport, macbook etc. and they are supposed to work best together.

I thank you all for your kind patience and understanding. The service you provided was outstanding.

I can only feel for you, that you have to service the lowest possible quality product.

Have a very nice day.

p.s.

Just to mention - during the same time, my wife's iPhone 6 was replaced 4 times due to cracks and screen movement. The screen moves also now on the replacement device, but I am simply sick and tired of continuing the replacement process since it proves to be pointless. So as I said, the device is clearly faulty, but I will proceed maybe later.. However probably pointless.

Also - I replaced iPad air 2 twice at the service center due to production faults.

I am the first to roll my eyes when some posts the old "This wouldn't have happened under Jobs RAWR RAWR RAWR", but seriously iphone 6 seems to have a few reoccurring issues based on its design.

Hope iphone 6s solves these with the change of materials.

Sorry but I bet most who got this did not get past the "you replaced my phone 10 times".

That is where I stopped reading:cool:

Apple lost its quality and innovations, this is the fact. Out of 3 iphones in my family I changed 0. But I swapped iMac 5k 4 times and it is heavy :)
I played with Samsung Galaxy S6 and it is build very well. I like design, tried to scratch front glass with my keys and I couldn't. The only problem, I'm with Apple system now. Some people call it "eco"-system, but with iphone 6 SAR level I cannot call it this way. My best friend switched to Android due to high iphone radiation and told me he has 0 problem with his new phone. My plans : I buy iPhone 6s if I like it I keep it, no: I go with Galaxy S7. It takes time and efforts to switch, this is the only problem.

I agree the QC should be better. If you're concerned about the radiation, why not switch now instead of buying the next iPhone?? I can't tell if you're lazy or too scared to switch to a new platform. There are even apps to help you migrate your data if you want to switch. OP, Apple will fix or replace your phone.

I just wait to see new iphone 6s first. I thought that I'm crazy, but my friend told me that he had headaches from using iPhone. I asked over people, most don't care, but some don't use apple phone due to high radiation level. Thanks that you told me on the app to migrate. I read about and it looks like I buy Galaxy S6 Edge soon. Very strange Apple positions itself like a "green" company, but "microwave" our brains more than Samsung.

Op, just make an appointment with Apple store. What I usually do, I call Apple, they say that phone should be swapped, I come to Apple store and tell them that I was told that the phone should be swapped. Overwise they can give you hard time. Depends on the person there.

The iPhone 6 I borrowed from T-mobile has this problem as well. When I press the bottom-right corner, I can hear a click and can feel the display's corner moving a bit. Fortunately, it's not my phone :D

More often than not issues like that are related to noise cancellation or something of that sort than anything else.

Totally understand your frustration as I too went through a process pretty much the same as yours but I gave up after the 5th one. Each one of mine had a defect confirmed by the apple techs too. I had 4/5 with the camera problem and all of them have screen uniformity issues with the backlight. The quality of the iPhone 6 just isn't as good as previous gens. This was the first time I've had to send back anything from Apple! My 4 and 5 and iPad 4 are great. Don't know what went wrong with the 6! My camera cushion is once again shifted and almost obstructing the camera. I think maybe I'll send it back before the warranty is up but I'm afraid I'll get back one with a worse problem!!!

Same here. Mine is in perfect condition and I don't want to get a refurb replacement.

Everyone swears that they're all perfect and 'as new', yet I hear that they're mostly poorly reconditioned previously faulty devices that are even more of a lottery than new products.
I dread the time I ever need a refurb.

As someone whose had every iPhone and dozens and dozens of replacements. You are correct!
