this is going to be the longest .1 beta period ever from apple!

Yep, it already is! :D

----------

I can assure you, that by April 14th 2014, we will, at the very least, get iOS 7.1 Beta 6 as that's when beta 5 expires.

that gruber dude that people said was all that and that he was never wrong is pure bs wtf..

So, the iTunes Festival App does not require iOS 7.1

I'm betting on April 1st.

And btw, the changes on the policy about in-app purchases don't necessarily need to come out in a nice 7.1 package (i.e. March 31).

Give up already with those screwed up theories. The last one that I heard was that iOS 7.1 was coming this week because the iTunes Festival app would require it to work, lol.

Why are they screwed up or funny theories when they are fairly reasonable ones just bit necessary ones that end up being right?

The in-app stuff that people are assuming will delay 7.1 could also be entirely back-end and not actually have any dependency on the device-side OS.

Fairly reasonable? See the history. See the sad case that I've just mentioned.

Pretending that iOS 7.1 HAVE to be released before March 31 just because of the in-app purchases thing, is... Well, funny.

Exactly. But even if it required some update on the OS, nothing prevents a simple 7.0.7 release.

Kinda pissed it's not out yet. Maybe it should be out today, maybe apple has some last minute fixes that are worth it

History of what? Of apps requiring a certain iOS version? Or of certain we'll connected people having inside information that they sometimes share? All things that actually do have fairly good history of holding up.

I guess it would then even be silly to expect an io 7.1 update of some sort by April 14 when the latest beta expires.
