Why are you so excited anyway?
Verizon still wont get an iphone and also verizon phones will still be backwards compatible to the old CDMA system and wont be worldphones unless they include GSM chips in there.
We wont know how it will play for a long time anyway. Go back to your Droid or VZ forum:D
All your posts and threads have nothing but negativity towards the iphone and AT&T anyway.
What are you here for in this section anyway besides to troll?

Judging from how VZW is not locking down any Android devices and att is. VZW's new open policy is looking much better than att's.
Att locked the all it's android devices , so no sideloading apps and etc for att

You do know what Verizon forced Motorola to provide on the Droid X, do you not?

Checkmate where? I don't see Verizon's android devices working with Sprint's network. I don't see Verizon allowing any device connect to their network without them allowing so.

I don't see Verizon not forcing V-Cast or other Verizon branded services... I don't see them taking the logo off the phone.

I surely don't see the 700MHz spectrum being locked to Verizon. Saying so is the biggest and most ognorant thing to say.

You better go do some more research and answer my question before you say silly things like "checkmate."

Verizon is indeed moving to lock down Android devices and has done so on the Droid X. Today it's ROMs, tomorrow it will be something else. They've started, get ready for a nice long ride down a slippery slope there.

I read in another thread that the OP started that he is anti AT&T and loves Verizon. He didn't get the answers he wanted in the AT&T/Verizon poll so he started this one.

the main reason for that was viruses i believe. att doesnt need to replace your phone cause you where watching porn. anyway im sure you can hack it open.

Verizon doesnt like Puerto ricans I guess.

You know something, I'm starting to believe they didn't. When they where here, they had the best footprint over the other providers and they covered the hold island including the municipal islands, due to the company been formerly own by the government.

But they treat it us differently from the states, although been the same company. We got the crappy phones. Never the new and top of the line ones. They were here for like 5 years and they never upgraded the phones; just added another crappy one every one now and then. Hell, they where so far behind that they were the last ones to bring in the moto razr when the other providers had it for a wile and it was when they sold the company.

When you entered to the main website, Puerto Rico was never mention. If you entered the zip code to check a phone and plan, you where told to go to the Puerto Rico website, which had non of the phones and plans of the main one.

Its kind of like T-mobile its treating us right now. 2 years here and they don't even have 3G yet.

Oh! and Apple isn't far behind either. They don't ship anything to here and we don't even have a apple store. Yet you can't find a damn Iphone 4 cause they are completely sold out with long ass waiting list.
