Why wait?

:D

only 39.99 per glove.

Do we go ahead and purchase the 4G or do we wait for a possible recall/fix?

It's a safe purchase but you really should put it in a case regardless of signal issues or not.

The design of the bumper is well thought out so that the glass on the phone's sides is not normally directly in touch with a surface you lay it on (preventing micro-abrasions from surface contact, etc.,) But.. not likely to stop it from shattering if you drop it and the impact is too sudden. ;)

The bumper DOES break contact between your hand and the phone which will alleviate the hardware side of this signal/reception bug.

That's right people, when you receive a product that does not function properly, just bend over and take it.

Gotta love these trolls.

I'd venture to say that most people experiencing this bug are looking for it. It happens to me, but I've never lost a call or had any problems. If I hadn't seen the video of it I wouldn't have known it was even happening

It's nearly reached hysterical levels and some folks are tired of seeing the overreaction and lack of patience of some having relatively minor issues.
I'd like to know how you justify a phone's inability to place calls a "relatively minor issue."

It depends on your needs. Whatever they are, make your own decision.

Remember, there are loads of people out there who are more than satisfied with their purchase. There are some who are not so happy - it could be said that their problems would be resolved if they followed Apple's advice. Then there are the ones who always complain about everything!!

It's your money - it's your choice!

I'm waiting. I have a perfectly good 3GS and don't NEED the new iPhone, I just WANT it. Therefore, it makes sense considering all the hoopla to wait a few weeks and see if anything does change in the way the phone is built.

Anyone that says that they know for sure nothing's going to change is wrong. None of us know how this will unfold over the next few weeks, but we do know there are enough angry people that probably something will happen. Makes sense to wait and see.

Also I'd like to point out that the iPhone 4 is sold out all over the world. If you don't want one then please step aside, the guy behind you will gladly take yours.
