So, what kind of Apple tattoo would you get??

I was thinking vintage Apple logo with Think Different written underneath either in English or Italian. Might be a little crazy but I think that'd be awesome. What do you think? What would you get if you were to get an Apple-inspired tattoo?
 
list your age as well.



ok ok....um how about adam and eve tasting the apple.


better yet Eve with the devil in the tree and Eves holding the apple shaped as the apple logo...turned just right so you can see the bite taken out of it and with the other hand she has her nipple clasped (gently) with her middle finger and thumb licking her lips in ectasy?

if i HAD to get a tattoo and it HAD to be of something as lame as apple (a corporate company) than thats what it would be.





man times are a changing. first dentists on harleys now tattoos of corporations. cool is lame.
 
What if the impossible happens and Apple call themselves Orange?? No wait thats taken, em Mango?? :eek:
 
I kinda like the powerbutton icon, like on the front of the g5, but the again that's not exclusive to apple. And I also really like tattoos anyway and I'm itching for more :D

no really, it takes more than that. im just saying, it sounded kinda weird. but to each his own. just make sure that tattoo needle is CLEAN.

i always thought how self destructive your avatar was. tattoos are right par for that course.

p.s. saw the porno for pyros on the second stage at the second lollapalooza. one of their first shows. one of the best farrell performances i've seen.
 
Don't think I'll ever get one but I've long been thinking a nice little discrete multi-color apple logo would be kind of cool...

Lately I've been considering the iTunes logo even more, since iTunes actually has changed my habits more than the Mac...

Maybe both... :D ;)

Then again, chances are I'll just go for a triskell or yin & yang if I ever decide to get a tattoo...

considering i have two, getting a third in two weeks, and plan on being heavily inked in the future... i agree

if i had to get an apple inspired tattoo it would have to be the powerbutton on the back of my neck, but thats where i plan to get my barcode so i guess it won't be happening, sorry apple

oh really? i dont think so. its just my opinion and what i have seen in my life. i guess you'll ignore the quote below as well.

and i never said anything about his avatar being the final course of his life. jeeze thats F@#%#@ up. damn you people. relax. i meant i wasnt surprised that someone with an anvatar like that would have a tattoo. just like if i saw an ozzy avatar. and you can pretend that associating self destructive behavior isnt associated with tattoos. i dont care. i also think smoking, drinking to much, driving under the influence, having sex without condoms....are all forms of self destructive behavior. i do a lot of the above by the way so im not trying to make an example out of any one/group.

guess you have to be politically correct around here.

eat unhealty, nope! been a vegetarian for 5 + years

suggest that you see everyone with tattoos as being self destructive. To answer your other set:

Uhh doesn't everyone have sex??

Or to put a spin on this, alcoholics are more likley to have tattoos, where as I don't think it's fair to say tattooed people are more likley to be alchohlics.

You know it seems it's harder and harder for me to find some one who doesn't smoke pot these days, maby it's cuz I'm in Canada but it's really come down to the level of being smoking liquor.

Over two times more likely to express violent behavior
Only been in 1 fight in my life, some drunk guy punched me in the face because I wouldn't get in his car and let him drive.


Over two times more likely to drop out of high school
Finished college, working a full time 9-5 with on salary doing all the web output for a multi-million dollar joint venture company.



Oh yeah...I'm only 23.... :D

Iguess you must not think to highly of me either as I have a tattoo.

But lets look at this study of yours... and my experiences.

Up to the age of 29 I had only had 1 (one) sexual partner (my ex-wife), since the age of 31 I've had 1 (one) sexual partner (my current wife).​
Over two times more likely to experience alcohol related problems
I don't drink... never have and have no reason to start (why start drinking now that I'm almost 38?).​
Nearly two times more likely to use illegal drugs
I've never used any illegal drugs... which is not that hard to imagine as I don't use any legal drugs (tobacco or alcohol).​
Over two times more likely to express violent behavior
I never thought I was a violent person...​
Over two times more likely to drop out of high school
Well, high school was a long time ago for me and I've got more education than most people I know, so I highly doubt that this would apply to me.​

Other than having a tattoo, I don't smoke, drink (at all), drive under the influence (requires drinking) or have sex with anyone but my wife.

The fact that you do a lot of the above and don't have a tattoo while I do none of the above and have one should give you some idea how flawed your stereo type is of people with tattoos.

That having been said... I would have to say that I find it highly questionable to get a tattoo of any company's logo (not just Apple). :eek:
 
I'd probably get one of those cool Mad Magazine fold out tattoos on my back with a Microsoft Windows logo that, when flexing my incredibly muscular back, is consumed by a biting Apple logo - Pac Man style. It seems like the most sensible thing to do.
 
RacerX come on. i know YOU can agree that its self destructive. im talking basic terms here. im not saying that one who has tattoos is going to self destruct.



just look how your body reacts to a tattoo. if you cant see making your body unnecessarily bleed as self destructive than i cant debate the tattoo issue here cause your all blinded. im not saying its a bad thing but the act itself IS self destructive.

anyway, tattoos to me seem like a stretch to be cool. i never fell into that belief. i do have friends with plenty of them though. one of my oldest....actually several of my oldest friends have tattoos. full sleeves, portraits, names, religious...what ever. i just think its sorta silly. and so do a lot of them....now. i guess im just a purist when it comes to defacing things...like myself.


i think i just proved my point. you deface (definition– spoil the surface or appearance of, to mar or disfigure) yourself with tattoos therefor, according to the english language im right and you ALL, that includes RacerX himself, are wrong.

its funny that one of you here said my statement was ignorant hehe not according to webster.

tell me about it. ok so tattoos arent self destructive, they arent a sign of rebellion against mainstream culture.....damn everything is ass backwards....what planet are we on? you know what. this post takes away everything that i thought was GOOD about tattoos.

whats sexy these days, bill gates?
