I am going to sit tight and wait. I love my JB too much to risk it for a ping feature that I'll never use. plus I've also gotten quite used to wi-fi sync so I dont want to lose that either.

Don't forget the new Album grid view method.
Steve must have mentioned that 5 times.

Definitely worth a x.0 upgrade.

Yep...I am. I'll have to turn it off and try it out. Be great if it was as simple as that.

you have to completely uninstall wifi sync and restart computer. then try it.

I've ceased my connection to Wifi...what do you mean by "completely uninstall wifi sync"?

Do you have the jailbreak app "WiFi Sync" installed? Because having that installed causes the restore function to break. You need to completely uninstall it, not just turn it off. That should fix your problem.

Can't....iTunes 10 isn't available yet. Just checked and 9.2.1 is still the current version available.

But just give it time. If there are people that "ACCIDENTALLY UPGRADED TO 4.1 AM I SCROOED?" I'm almost positive within the next...5 minutes somebody will report back with an answer.

OMG, I just 'accidentally' upgraded to iTunes 10, iOS 4.1 beta 3 on my iPhone4 and to iOS 4.2 Beta 1 on my iPad all at the same time. Help!

No need to solicit volunteers. Within minutes of the release of iTunes 10, someone who hasn't read this thread will inevitably upgrade and find out for us.
Especially considering how easy it was to jailbreak with jailbreakme.com

The only issue I had with itunes 10 was with infinifolders. It just crashes the app section in itunes where you organize the springboard. Removed infinifolders and it solved the issue.
