1. It will be my first iPhone!

2. It's cheap

3. I actually like the plastic back better than aluminum even though it will be quite scratchable

4. It will be my first Apple product other than an ipod and I hope to have a new computer follow soon

1. It'll be my first iPhone

2. I can finally afford the contract

3. I want the internet on the go. Safari on my iPod Touch is much better than the browser on my N95... although my N95 does support Flash

I am buying the new iPhone because I'm a technology junkie and I must have every new electronic gadget the day it comes out. I'll be buying the next iPhone and the next one... As well as every new gaming system, new sound system (my 7.1 digital is getting old) and pretty much every new thing that runs on electricity. I'm basically addicted to buying stocks and electronics. Lucky for me, one leads to the attainment of the other. ;)

I'd get one, if I didn't already have one already that does 99% of what the new one does. To me, the additional cost, plastic construction, and getting roped into another two years of AT&T isn't really worth the minor 1% performance increase.

I understand that boost might be worth it for some people, but it's just not, for me.

I'll see if they do something more major next time around.

...maybe by 2010 they'll figure out copy & paste.

I cracked my iPhone glass. So, instead of paying $200 to get refurb, I'll pay the extra $100 ($300 total) to get the 16 GB iPhone 2.0.

Same here...more or less...

thats cool

I fail to understand what is cool about that at all. Unless of course it was sarcasm brought on by the fact that you are confused by what he said.

To replace my ancient 6 year old Sanyo phone. Hopefully I wont get a heartattack from the sudden change hehe.
