Best teams in the NFL:

1) Patriots
2) Colts
3) Chargers
4) Jaguars
5) Cowboys
6) Steelers
7) Giants/Vikings?

The Giants should thank God they are not in the AFC.

Giant fans get ready for a little Deja Vu--2001 Superbowl, Ravens 34 Giants 7. Haha!

that is laughable

I hope not; I'm sick of the Patriots' dynasty. If they win it will be a last-gasp field goal, the classic Patriots MO...:D

Yeah, I'm a little tired of the whole Pats thing, so over it. Unfortunately, I do think they are the best team in the NFL, and will win.

The Giants did well in the nice warm Tampa Bay a few weeks ago too.

Now, I live in the Tampa Bay area, and am a lifelong Bucs fan, but even I thought the Bucs were the weakest team in the playoffs.

I'm not a big football fan, but from what I've seen over the last handful of seasons the Patriots win because they are pretty strong in all positions and, more importantly, don't make a lot of mistakes.

I still hope they lose. Hey Belichick, if you are such a wonderful coach why couldn't you do squat for us in Cleveland? ;):eek:

Belichick actually had the Browns steadily improving and took them to the playoffs in 1994. Then in 1995 the Browns douchebag owner announced they would be moving to Baltimore and they had a terrible year because of this.

I think the Patriots will win, despite my hopes otherwise, but I don't think it will be a complete blowout.

I have almost nothing against the Patriots, it's more the overconfident fans I'd like to see put in their place by a loss to the Giants.

I liked seeing the overconfident Colts fans put in their place when the Chargers won, I liked seeing the Giants make it up to the Packers. There were some overconfident Packer fans, but I can't like them being put in their place because the Pack is my team. You'd think any true Packer fan would know not to count a cold game in Lambeau as a sure thing after the 2003 run in with Atlanta.

In short I'd probably be pulling for the Pats if it weren't for two things:
1. The Giants took the Pack out of the playoffs so I'd rather have them be the champs. Always been a root for the team that beats you because I'd rather be eliminated by the champions than by someone who got eliminated in the next round.

2. Everyone who seems to think the game is already over and that the Giants are just a technicality. I remember someone calling the Chargers a technicality on the way to a Pats/Colts playoff game and we all know how that went...

Really, you put the Vikings on that list. I'm from Minnesota, and I'll tell you right now that instead of putting the Vikings on there, just put A.P. on it. T. Jack is probably the worst quarterback in the league. Anyways, the Giants have been the closest to beating the Pats, so I have faith in them. Giants defense has to really step it up and jack up Brady a few times and they got it in the bag. I love Moss, but I'm going with the upset.

You obviously don't know much about football.

no, watching every week doesn't make me a football expert, just a normal "watcher".

Not only NFL, MLB, NBA, the sports organizations in this country just have no respect for fair game, they found every possible excuses for not punishing cheaters, until some day, something like Mitchell report comes out. Living in the wonderland, if you ask me, don't ask, don't tell. lol

**** those fans. they're the bandwagoners.

true boston fans are never overconfident.. after having the Sox lose so many times we're always expecting the worst.

I'm assuming you're talking about "Spygate". You do know that videotaping is not illegal? It was the position of the camera that broke a rule. If you listened to some of the media you'd think the Pats were all testing positive for steroids like Shawne Merriman.

Yes, we did make it to the playoffs, in '94. But Belichick left us with a losing record, and unimaginative play-calling (c.f. "Metcalf up the middle") and leaving aside the Unspeakable One's move to Baltimore, Belichick left Browns fans with a bad taste in their mouth.

No issue - I think it will be an easy 19-0. Bellichek will have 2 weeks to devise a plan to mess up Eli's head and the Pat's want to prove that the last meeting wasn't as close as it seemed...spread is 14 - take the Pats and the over - especially since they have records on their minds...;)

no, he isn't. but they haven't used him at all during the playoffs so far. they have got to get him involved

he was covered well, neither brady nor moss had any problems going to other receivers. moss is really a weapon even if he doesn't catch a pass as he really opens up the field.

they're the bandwagoners.
You wanna see bandwagoners?Watch how many people suddenly become Giant's "fans" over the next two weeks and hop on board. Yet where were all these "fans" when the Giants were 0-2 and the media wanted Coughlin's head on a stick? Course most of these people don't even know who Coughlin is in the first place.

That Patriots bandwagon has gotten a little top heavy as well the past few years. Just turn on ESPN any given day and see it.

Huh?Most of the so called experts and analysts on ESPN always pick against the Pats (see Merril Hoge,Tom Jackson,Steve Young etc)...

ESPN is always kissing up to the Pats, it is like they can't do wrong. Sportscenter becomes unwatchable.
