depends

i used to have a iPod
i used to have a iPod Video
i used to have a iPod Nano
i used to have a iPod Touch
...... all sold now
i got a iPhone 3G

and might get the new iPod nano, depends on the price and what it can actually do (i dont expect much)

Doubt it.

Have an 80GB iPod Classic for everything, my iPhone for some stuff and my iPod Shuffle for the gym.

I voted no because I already carry 16GB worth of music everywhere I go with the iPhone and the nano would be redundant for my listening habits. I will however consider getting a new iPod classic to replace my beat up 80GB 5G iPod, especially if there is a price drop and/or capacity jump. I use that as my travel music device and as my home music jukebox since it holds so much more music.

I bought an iPhone for it's internet browsing, movie watching, phone calling, etc. I didn't buy it for it's ipod capabilities.

I know I'm going to get flamed for this but, I think the iPhone's sound quality (for music) is absolutely terrible. I don't know how much better the regular iPod or iPod Nano's fare.

I originally came from a Samsung P2/Creative Zen and they blow the iPhone's sound quality out of the water.

For a all-in-one multimedia machine, my iPhone wins hands down.
For strictly mp3 players and sound quality, I'll look elsewhere.

Interesting, the iPhone uses the same audio chip as the 5G/5.5G iPod. I personally find it pretty good

nope , I have somewhat of an ipod addiction , I already have a 1g ipod nano , 1g ipod mini , 1g ipod touch and a 3g iphone lol. not to mention the other ipod's in the house lol.

The " rumored new ipod nano" does look cool but I am more interested in a mac tablet of macbook update.:)

it depends on how Nike+ gets integrated into the 2G iPhones (if at all). Probably eventually, as I am currently rededicating myself to running and it was much easier to do with my old 2G nano (shouldn't have given that to my sister).

i just almost bought one but then i was like 149 € hmmm i rather get me a nintendo DS for that money cuz i already have the iPhone

As much as I like the new nano, I must resist buying it.

I bought the fatty AND the touch last year and have since bought the 1st gen iPhone and most recently the iPhone 3G. I also have a 2nd gen iPod, 5th gen iPod, and 1st gen nano. Except the iPhone 3G, they are all sitting in the drawer collecting dust. It's getting ridiculous.

Should I go for the black or the green?!

I just don't think I could justify buying a new nano. I got the iPhone 3g 16gb on launch day. I keep telling myself I need to save the money for the new macbooks but the pink and blue nanos look sweet! AHHH, I'm so torn.

I currently have a Shuffle, a 2nd gen Nano, and an iPhone 3G. Do I need the new Nano? No. Will that stop me from getting one in the future.? My gut says no. I am at peace with my obsession :)

i was about to buy one but i need a credit card and i only have a prepaid one so i have to wait til it surfaces on amazon :(

I don't feel a need for it since I have the iPhone. The iPhone is kind of a Swiss army knife of communications and entertainment--gadget-wise, what else does one need?

I'd probably be more interested in upgrading my iBook to an iMac at this point.

Nope.

Use my iPhone for everything but driving, which is where I use my 5th gen 30g so I don't have to take my eyes off the road.

It's tempting. IRL, I carry my trusty 2nd gen iPod nano and iPhone 3G with me all the time. However, it's hard to give up my 4GB Red iPod nano.
