Apple just released an iPhoto and iMovie update!

Downloading right now...Installed iMovie and iPhoto updates!

Ok...
Now everything says MobileMe. Now an iLife update is showing up and an iWeb update too!

iLife Update: iLife Support provides system software components shared by all iLife ’08 applications. This update improves overall stability and addresses a number of other minor issues. It is recommended for all users for iLife ’08.

For information on the security content of this update, please visit this website: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61798

iPhoto: This update contains new holiday greeting card and postcard themes for use with Apple print products. It also addresses general compatibility issues, improves overall stability, and addresses a number of other minor issues.

iMovie: This update addresses general compatibility issues, improves overall stability, and addresses a number of other minor issues.

iWeb: This update addresses general compatibility issues.

Okay, I installed all of them. Everything seems pretty normal. Some new card templates in iPhoto, everything is MobileMe now instead of .Mac.

New updates for sundry iLife apps on Software Update.

I just ran software update and got 4 updates!

They downloading right now as I type this.

Excellent, I'll download them once I get home! Even though I am not a MobileMe subscriber I always like to have everything on my Mac as up to date as possible. :)

I've also just noticed the updates when I've ran the updater. Don't know why I had the feeling to run it though.

yes, that's true.

Though one EFI update once broke an unsupported feature (connecting a headset through the line-in. it never worked on my new MacBook, but it was working on my sisters older one.)

Garbage Collection fix?

Does anyone know whether this fixes crashes related to the iLife Media Browser in some apps that under OS X have Garbage Collection enabled?

Cheers,
Andrew

But you're overlooking all the snazzy new postcard themes in iPhoto! :p ;)

Come on, you are not being fair, this also addresses other minor issues, as well General Compatibility (.Mac is not compatible with the new marketing programme).

Aw man, I feel so stupid.

I quickly scanned through the post, thinking that Apple were bringing out a new product for the medical field called 'iLife Support. Revolutionise the way you keep human vegetables alive. It just works.

Then I realised it was support for iLife, not the other thing.

The stupid iMovie UI bug is still there... moving your mouse over some parts of the UI cause the close|zoom|min icons to highlight.

Says no new updates...

Oh wait, I tried again and it says update for iLife and iWeb, nothing for iMovie or iPhoto though...

Look in your Mail app in the dock. On the left hand side are still two references to .Mac after the updates are installed. Do you have to restart your computer for these updates to work?

Iphoto printing updates?

My wife loved our iMac until she tried to print photos from Iphoto.

Contact sheet is awful - just prints really small versions in the middle even tho iphoto looks fine.

Come on - restore the dwindling faith in our house-hold.

LETS HOPE IT'S FIXED

I was just wondering about iLife and iWork the other day, they have not had any real updates in months.
