Still No Slow Motion In I Movie

I know that is a long shot but of all the tools I use for home movies it is speed manipulation. Come on Apple.

It only gave me the iLife package.

My iMovie is 7.11, when I open it it says please update to 7.12 then it can find the update. Oh well, manual update instead (same for iWeb and iPhone which I rarely use).

/edit - my mistake. Software update only updates if the apps are in the applications folder and not tidied up and put in an iLife folder.

Apologies to Apple for having a tidy Applications directory

My wife loved our iMac until she tried to print photos from Iphoto.

Contact sheet is awful - just prints really small versions in the middle even tho iphoto looks fine.

Come on - restore the dwindling faith in our house-hold.

LETS HOPE IT'S FIXED

Unbelieveable - they fixed it!!!!! :):):):):):):)

Oh, to have been in on the meeting where a dumb-ass name like "mobile me " was green-lighted.

Look in your Mail app in the dock. On the left hand side are still two references to .Mac after the updates are installed. Do you have to restart your computer for these updates to work?
Morod

Thats because your account name under mail preferences is ".Mac" - this is not something Apple will chance because its a user setting.

You can change this to what ever you want while in mail click on: Mail>Preferences>Accounts and change the description to anything you please.

Is your iCal application hidden (cmd H). I think there is a setting you can change via Terminal or some third party applications such as Cocktail, that make the icons on your dock translucent if you hide an application.

Does not seem to fix the problem where iLife media browser does not show iTunes library...

Had iWeb, iPhoto, iDVD and iMovie in Applications/Multimedia and Software Update didn't detected new versions. Had to move them back to Applications so that updates would work.

Now, isn't this stupid or what? :(

Doesn't fix the issue where I'd rather use iMovie HD than the craptastic pile of junk that is iMovie 08.

Hmm... Maybe that will be another update in the future. :apple:

Not had time to check much but iWeb's issue with Google maps and Google ads is fixed for me at last. Plus I notice a new feature in the maps, they have an inset zoom option.

Well, I tried it and Firefox still doesn't display image galleries at all! :(
How many dysfunctional websites are out there?

That's odd. After this update my website's galleries are working perfect in firefox. It was the fix I was looking for.

iWeb 2.0.4 update

Well, I tried it and Firefox still doesn't display image galleries at all! :(

For me, the iWeb 2.0.4 update fixed the Firefox 3 issues. Hmmm.. I simply updated the application, launch iWeb, and re-published all my web pages. :)

First Mac (yeah I know I've been a slacker!) and no reboot after a large update, nice!

Sounds like that is an issue with you and not the Apple product. It is unlikely Apple will release a fix for you.
