I downsized from 6s plus to 6s. But I wasn't happy. It was lighter to carry around but I missed the screen size of the plus.

When the 7 came out I went for the plus and couldn't be happier.

4.7 is too small. 5.0 would be the ideal size.

I have the 7, wifey has the 7+. While I'm lounging in my bed or sofa the 7 is easier to hold and operate with one hand. The 7+ has more screen real estate which make it easier to view but harder to operate with 1 hand. The weight factor, I favor the 7. I'm not concern abt the battery life since I can always take a break and get it charged, 30 mins-1hr charge isn't that long and it will give me enough juice to continue fooling around to browse the Net. I don't know if in the future I take the plus but for now I'm happy with the 7.

It was actually rumored for a while that Apple would be working on a potential release for a 5.1 display iPhone 8. That rumor ultimately faded away and now it's looking like there will be a 4.7/5.5 LED and a 5.8 OLED.
