Lol. Ok. I don't even know why I should respond to this. Please tell me how restricting buyers without paypal accounts, international bidders, and buyers with 2 or more unpaid item strikes is not helpful? I'll wait.

Thanks for waiting but you said that you could indicate a preferred buyer but you left absolutely no details such as restricting those without a paypal account. In that case I would think that ebay would know if you had a paypal account but you as the seller could not know this beforehand. You can obviously restrict to US only but would you know if a bidder has two strikes?

Now let us look at the seller (the OP) and the fact that it does not state the buyer was international. It does not state the buyer did not pay. It does not state the buyer did not have paypal. So again, I say that your comment doesn't help in this case because the seller (OP) is not having a problem with shipping location or payment, but that he is having an issue with the buyer believing that the phone is an AT&T phone. My guess is the sim tray on the 4s VZW phones is confusing him and this is just a hot mess right now.

I'm so tired of trying to help people on here. I hate them anyway. If you would just look at the site preferences you would see you can restrict buyers that don't have paypal account, buyers that have a certain # of strikes and other things that YES WOULD HELP THE EFFIN OP BY MINIMIZING HIS CHANCING OF SELLING TO A######$(%$(%* BUYERS LIKE THIS.

Edit: Troll alert (posts that comment on other posts without offering any attempt at helping with the discussion themselves)

And you're right but in this guy's case none of those options could have prevented this. Do you see at all what I'm saying? If not it's okay, but it is pretty obvious to me that the site preferences don't allow you to prevent selling to *******s like the one we're reading about now.

Ok I've calmed down from earlier lmao. The point here is I was trying to help so don't give me **** for it.

Well to sum up my original message, I was mainly informing the op and people that by using these restrictions you're more likely to get competent buyers that won't try to screw you over. Take care I need a break from this site for a day lol.

Where is the buyer located?

In my experience, if a buyer is being unreasonable (as is the case here, by insisting that it's an AT&T iPhone even when the phone's own info clearly reflects a Verizon one), I offer them the return it for a refund. If they don't want to return it, that's their choice...but the option's there for them.

:D

:D I thought of that after I posted! My favorite is still:
