Following the introduction of the Apple Watch Series 8 and second-generation Apple Watch SE, Apple has made the Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop bands available in smaller Size 1 through Size 3 options for all 44mm and 45mm Apple Watch models.

44mm and 45mm Apple Watch models include the Series 8, Series 7, Series 6, and both generations of the Apple Watch SE.

Previously, the Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop were only available in Size 4 through Size 12 for 44mm and 45mm Apple Watch models, but now customers who purchase a larger Apple Watch but have a smaller wrist have more suitable band sizes to choose from. Size 9 through Size 12 are still not an option for 40mm and 41mm Apple Watch models.

Solo Loops and Braided Solo Loops are priced at $49 and $99, respectively. Both bands feature a stretchable design without a clasp for a more precise fit.

(Thanks, Joe Mislansky!)

I love the idea of the braided solo loop, but after having two replaced due to stretch, I’m going to try something else. I’ve gone down a size each time, and after a few months, the watch is so loose it’s distracting.

About time. Also makes sense given the Ultra is 4mm longer, meaning any size 4 wearers wouldn’t be able to use them without smaller options.

Why do they keep using a picture with a colour you can’t buy? The orange in these pictures is a lot darker than the Sunglow - the only orange available online. I’d buy it if I could find it! Had one on the gen 1 orange bands but it died after about a year and you can’t get the colour anymore :-(

Have they fixed the stretch issues? Sized 2 down, now so flappy it rotates around my wrist.

About bloody time and should have been an option from the start. I know my mum loves the 45mm watch size as she likes the larger screen but after trying a braided loop which she also really likes she couldn't buy one as she needs a size 1.

I’m super glad to see this happened! I decided to go up when I upgraded to series 7 but have been bummed I couldn’t make trying these bands out due to my wrist size.

I went one size smaller for the solo loop on my ultra, fits as well as my series 7 did. Went from size 9 to 8.
