Cellular shouldn't be cut off, I still have it cut on, but I would recommend shutting off imessage unless you really need it.

lol why would i need to disable imessages? it's the feature that 90% i use to communicate with my friends and family, it almost changes the sms capability in my life.

i can get 10 hours and 40 minutes of my iphone 5's battery life on a single charge, as long as the brightness is not more than 30%.

good thing is most of the time i use my device indoor, so 30% of brightness is more than enough for me.

when i go outside, i turn the brightness to 70-90%, and the battery went down so fast.

so my take on the conclusion is the brightness settings is the most thing that affect the battery life.

Something tells me there's something wrong with my iPhone 5's battery:

I hate dealing with Apple's customer support, yet it looks like I'm going to have to.

Yeah, i just returned a phone last sat for this same exact problem. I even did restore to new a week ago and still saw poor battery life. While talking to the "genius" i asked if this was a common issue w/ returns and he said he had never seen it. I highly doubt he would tell me the truth, but it was worth a shot ha

Followed the steps and it did make a difference. I don't have screen shots or exact numbers but I know the rate my battery drains daily based on my usage and it is better now. I suggest you give it a try. It is pretty easy once you get into it and doesn't take very long if you have IOS 6.0.1 allready downloaded and ready to go.
