Ha, it's rather simple actually.
Um, so I opened a new post as you suggest. Then I received a reply that you can show the hidden files on Mac OS X by using the method HERE
- Go to Macintosh HD, there it will show a .Spotlight-V100 folder which was in a pale colour that means it's used to be hidden. Go and delete it.
- After that, hide the files back to normal and restart the computer. And after the restart, it finally re-indexes like it used to be. And all the files are showing back the "more info" inside the "get info" pane.
So, there you go. Problem solved.
