Rrrright. iPhone 4S is as good as Canon Mark II at shooting pictures of static objects in well lit environment at 1 to 8 feet. Once objects start moving, the night drops, the object moves 20 feet away, the DOF or color reproduction becomes important etc. the difference become obvious.
