Some basic first impressions.

Dear Apple - I'm really enjoying my new AW but one thing really ticks me off. I have a job that requires a LOT of standing. The AW has the "remind to stand" feature which is good but not good when it tells me to stand and I've been standing for that past 5 hours!! Needs software update asap!

Between this and the thing where it tells you to stand while you are driving, I think we can cobble together a decent #standupgate.

I ended up turning off the stand reminders a day or so ago. They went from cute to annoying pretty quickly.

I thought I might get annoyed by them, but they only pop up if you have been sitting for an hour or more straight without moving, and apparently even with my rather sedentary desk-bound habits, I still do that. I only see it once or twice a day on average.
