My 12 pro is starting to show its age, but Apple is making it very easy for me to hold out on upgrading for one more year.
I’m not following your logic here.Exactly , buying the lasest iphone but driving a Chevy Traverse , those products do not line up. Fyi not a fan of american cars. Everyone knows if want a relidable car you buy a Toyota or a Honda.
The factory wireless charger in my Cadillac is made by LGThe same parts suppliers, maybe?
When the issue appears to be that a specific wireless charger is causing hardware damage, I don't see a feasible alternative to that advisory. Short of instantly issuing a software patch, what were you expecting Apple to say?And Apple might go portless on iPhone 16?
Like with BMW, Apple's (temporary) solution will be to don't use in-car wireless charging.
In the meantime, Apple advises affected customers to stop using in-car wireless charging.
Yea probably, when I got my 13pro I couldn’t even use my wireless charger anymore because the cameras were getting in the wayThe huge camera tumors keeps the phone from contacting the Qi pad properly. Yet another reason I’m sticking with my SE as long as I can.

I did. Since this is a unicorn in the US market at a very reasonable price comparing to the closest competitor and does not look like everything on the road.I couldn’t agree more. Outside of trucks (and maybe budget for a used car), do people actually choose to buy GM vehicles?
Yep. My Ford Focus hatchback does this. A little pop up message on the Sync display lets me know it turned off the offending outlet/radio.I wonder if there is a system that causes the truck to shut that feature off if it detects it is drawing too much power. I know my F150 will do this to all sorts of things if it feels the battery is too low in the truck
