And just a note of a few of the things I've tried over the years at the advice of Apple (often in combination, all unsuccessfully AF):Continuing issue on iPhone 15 Pro, was getting to the point that bluetooth headphones were nearly unusable on the phone. I tried connecting the same headphones to my old SE 2020, they work fine. Connected to my iPad - work fine.
Something I did notice is if I 'forget this device' for the headphones on the phone, connect them to the iPad, then disconnect from iPad and pair again with the iPhone, they will work for several hours before starting with the connectivity issues. I do not reset the headphones in the middle steps, just put back in pairing mode. Not a perfect solution but at least it's somewhat usable now; I hope it helps someone else.
1. forget and re-pair the headphones to the phone (with and without restoring headphones to factory settings)
2. restart the bluetooth
3. reboot the phone
4. reset network connections
5. reset device to factory and restore from backup
6. reset device to factory and NOT restore from backup
