I'm getting this. A reddit user went through the analytics logs for their iPhone and saw it's a firmware issue, the drivers for the new WiFi chip keep crashing or something. Another user filed a ticket with Apple and it's been moved to high priority -- Apple are aware. Will hopefully get addressed very soon.
Let’s hope that it is that “simple” to fix …

In years past Apple has been notorious for WiFi connectivity issues. As essential as it is, one would expect them to put extra effort into quality control and insure that WiFi works properly.

I've had more than one new MacBook Pro with the issue.

In fact quite frankly, this year on launch day in the store about to buy an iPhone Air, I remembered the risk of buying a first generation Apple product. Taking that fact into account I decided to wait until next year.

Apple has a terrific opportunity to do the right thing and improve quality control, it's rather unfortunate they fail to do so.

Apple screwed the pooch on the iPhone 17 models! This is pathetic for a trillion dollar company with no QC teams worth 10 cents.

iPhone Air and also having issues with wireless Carplay. At first I was thinking it was the Carplay device I'm using not playing with with Apple's new chip. Hopefully there will be a fix soon.

Similar but different:

3 weeks ago my old 13 mini (still on 18.7 and using Verizon in the USA) started disconnecting from cell service then reconnecting to cell service about every 3-5 seconds. The phone started doing that on a Saturday AM after midnight and continued to do it through Sunday evening - cellular on then seconds later, cellular off then seconds later, cellular on. By Monday, the phone was back to normie. I didn’t change any settings. And I had not damaged my phone in some new way.

Based on what I am reading, I will not update to 26 on The phone or the pad for a while. And I will def wait to buy the new 17 to replace my 13 mini.

Same here! I was on a call using Apple CarPlay and it kept bouncing back and forth between my phone and the car! it switched 6 times in a 10-minute call. Every time it happened my car would kick back to the main screen and I had to manually re-select Apple CarPlay from the menu. So annoying! iPhone 17 Pro Max

I'm surprised Apple didn't test this first in a low demand product, like iPhone Air.

Was there really a need to save $ so quickly by cutting off Broadcom across the entire lineup?
This probably software related issue that Apple can fix with a update.

JPack how is the performance on the new Air with the C1X modem?

Like seriously? I have been having this issue in my iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 14 for over 1 year now! I haven’t seen it om my 17 yet!

This isn't surprising. Everytime a new iPhone is released, expect bug fixes for stuff like this.

I have not experienced any Wi-Fi issues with my 17 Pro Max. That said, my car only has wired CarPlay, not wireless.

This appears to be a software issue. I’m actually seeing it across my devices (tvOS included), as well as my 16 Pro before upgrading to my
17 Pro.

Haven't noticed anything with my 17 Pro. CarPlay was fine over my 20 minute commute. I have no Apple Watch connected.
