I had these issues with my 14 Pro. My 17 standard is working great. Don’t fix it! lol Seriously though, if they fix it and my 17 starts acting up, I’ll know that my phone is now special again just like my GMC with a HUD that works, sometimes.

lol you make it sound like there were no bugs in the Steve Jobs era.
I didn’t say that.
It just feels that they don’t do a proper testing of anything in the house even before the beta test.
Flashy-bouncy Messages app is a pure distraction. For god sake, it’s a messaging app, I wanna stay focused on a convo.
Spotlight Search doesn’t bring apps and contacts in the results, and it’s been a week for iOS to index and settle.
I can continue

Allegedly the company isn't growing for the past 5 years:
I don't doubt it. But as long as profits rise and stocks go up, Tim isn't "cooked".

I get it, though. The market is fake money. As soon as something goes south with Apple, people sell, stocks tank and very few get what they thought they would. In a mass sell-off, most would lose their shirt in any stock.

I have this issue on my iPhone 14 Pro Max, and this has been happening constantly. I thought it was because of my car's software.

I have UniFi U7 Pro access points throughout my home. On my iPhone 17 Pro Max, I only get around 100 Mbps, while on my iPhone 16 Pro Max I consistently see speeds of about 900 Mbps.

I do have the issue, iPhone 17 Pro while wearing Apple Watch.

Oddly it only happens when it connects to my primary router downstairs, if it connects to an access point upstairs it doesn't happen.

I also have the constant Wifi connect/disconnect issues on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. It's very frustrating. I don't have WiFi Assist enabled and I don't have an Apple watch. My prior iPhone (also a Pro Max) does not have these issues at all and has been stable for years, used in the same locations throughout my house.

I feel like iOS needs its own “snow leopard” moment.

Take all engineers off making new bells and whistles and have them make iOS the most bug free, seamless experience it can be.

I have a new AWU3 with my new 2TB 17 PM no problems with WiFi in home or elsewhere or CarPlay in my Mazda. Been rock solid for the 3 days I have had it.

CarPlay in my Mazda disconnects every 3-5 minutes for a couple of seconds with the same setup.

Face unlock with Apple Watch doesn’t work even though the toggle is green.
