If someone can afford the milanese loop or link bracelet why would the buy the Sport watch?

User preference for weight.

Gold and Steel are both very heavy.

The Sport aluminum model goes well with quite a few bands actually, plus the crown isn't colored which could be a plus to some people.

True. But by the same token, some of the combinations that look bad in these rendering might not look so bad in RL. When picking colors, there isn't a substitute for seeing the product in person. Extreme case, that dress that looked blue/black or gold/white.

Indeed.

We have already seen how much worse the Steel Link Strap looks in RL than in renders, and how it does not match the Stainless Steel watch body very well at all.

Shiny Chrome look, vs Brushed Matt look, which in itself is not as nice a brushed look at in Apple's Renders.

As you always point out, Renders always look better, to varying degrees, than real like objects. Even Apple ones.

I'm sure everyone will find a combination they like though.

It is a shame they did not offer a brushed/matt steel option as not everyone like the cheap chrome look.
