You mean like the Windows 8.1 machine that loses its network once every 1-3 days... (not even talking Wifi here, does the same connected or wireless). Or the Windows 8.1 machine that right now had 8 security updates pending.... Oh, yeah, that's a mighty improvement. Yes, my desktop is a Windows machine, but its no pic nic in the park, though I've learned to not be too mad at it ;-).
I think OS are getting so complex that nobody seemingly can get the hang of it. Only way to get little bugs is to use slow moving server/enterprise versions of OS's with interfaces that look like the 90s
