In his defence, I care about my stuff and still treat it like crap, some people would say. My iPod and mobile are all scratched up, and even if I were to get a new mobile phone tomorrow, I still wouldn't bother protecting it with a case or anything. What's the point of protecting something like that? Is it so that when it no longer works, I can take off the screen protector and case, look at how new it looks, and throw it away or have it recycled?

It's just wear and tear from usage.

And by the way, my PowerBook aluminium matte finish is "rubbing off" on 10-12 little spots on the left side of the lid, and I don't know why. Looks like cigarette burns on a table or something equivalent, but I don't smoke. Either way, doesn't matter to me, but I do love my PowerBook. ;)
Yeah, I have a tendency to let things *cough*myiPod*cough* get totally scratched up even though I love them bunches.
I don't really think I'd do that with a laptop though.... but a cell phone, yeah. :p

Yeah, the other day, I was switching through the TV channels, and landed at CBBC (Don't ask me why :p ). It was a crime investigation show, where these kids try to find out who the criminal of a crime is (Obviously, it was phony, and just set up). They had to find out who cut some climber's rope, which nearly killed him. Anyway, when I switched on, they were using Powerbooks to look at some images. These kids were about 8 years old! Later, in the show, they were using a...Macbook Pro! This drove me nuts, as I'm saving up for a Macbook. How much money does the BBC have to throw around!?
