I've seen a few people mention the ditching of the glowing Apple logo (one of the store reps I spoke to today was pretty broken up about that). Is this really that big a deal to people?

From what I've read on the Internet, yes. Apparently this is a huge deal breaker. These are the kinds of consumers Apple has to deal with these days.

To me, that glowing Apple logo is the worst thing about the MacBook Pro. It always seemed like "look at me" sort of thing. Good for Apple, but I won't miss it.

Nothing new in this video. And I'm not sure on his certainty that the SSD won't be replaceable in the Touch Bar models. No-one knows yet.

1. Chime can be had back through terminal
2. Not buying his explanation about 5K over TB3, that's just Multistream over TB3 (two DP1.2 streams) and has nothing to do with OC'ed custom controller like Apple is using in iMac 5K.
