And now NYC is irrelevant?
NYC is definitely fading. Not there yet, but it is.

Karma for the scalpers who couldn't get the phones because they couldn't speak English. Scalpers prevent those who are actually need a phone/want one and they just take the phone back to their country and flip them for profit. Bugs me.
Some of those pictures are seriously depressing. I know people say that "experience" of waiting in line on launch day is fun, but this doesn't look like fun to me at all.
Post photos of a line mainly consisting of people of a certain race and call it a "refugee camp". Then you compare that to a line of white people of and say that is what "typical" iPhone users look like. I have noticed a lot of racism on this forum this morning.
The "experience" went with the iPhone 4. Since then it's just rude, arrogant (organised, not individual) scalpers, who throw abuse at anyone not in their group. They barge, jump the queue, let their family/friends in, etc.
TRUE!! It happened to me. I witnessed the cutting in line and they tried to get my extra ticket. I refused and they kept trying. Rude and nasty.
WTF the images don't work for me in Firefox or Chrome.
Pictures moved to Google Drive as host because Dropbox has a traffic limit![]()
Most of them look like they are there to flip the purchase.
I'm so glad I don't live in New York. Sorry if that offends anyone, but that city is such a cesspool and this is just another example.

this make me sad. what is wrong with people? sersiously.
Is New York always that disgustingly dirty?
As a New Yorker, I'll just point out that what you refer to as NYC is actually the borough of Manhattan. Some areas of the city really are gorgeous, and others like the one you see pictured are not. NYC is made up of 4 other boroughs, which really are very different from Manhattan, and can be a quite nice place to live
That being said, there are some really ugly areas of the city, including the one you see pictured above.
