if anyone can buy lion on app store if u are on GM press ALT when i click buy and let's u buy it i use this method and works

I just did this, but I don't think it charged me. It's downloading in the same spot in my purchased list as my old GM version (which had already changed it's name to the release version), and my purchase date still says Jul 1, 2011. So, now I'm not sure what I'm even downloading - the GM Seed again, or the retail release - or if there is even any difference or how the h*ll to tell.

Apple needs to clarify this confusion for developers who have installed the GM to save a lot of potentially unnecessary downloading and installing.

How do you get the Mac App store to show that you have Lion installed. I have the GM version and it says nothing. Im trying to purchase the app version too.

are you a dev that purchased the GM version through MAS? if you downloaded your copy from a torrent or had it shared from a friend it will not show up in your account.

Thanks. Thats what i did. Now I'm just trying to purchase it so I have a copy of it from the app store. Do i hold down alt to buy it?

I obviously can't prove this but since I have a legitimate copy of the the GM obtained and installed through the app store, and since the app store shows I have Lion in my list of purchased apps and that it is installed, that any new versions or updates to Lion through the app store will be available to me. It seems as far as Apple and the app store are concerned, I have Lion purchased and installed and I don't see any reason future updates wouldn't show up for me there.
