The only time when I take off my Apple watch off my wrist is if I feel a bit of discomfort on my wrist (generally I leave it off for 30 minutes).

Occasionally this happens to me as well - kinda sudden and I just have to take my watch off. Not often but it happens.

That's due to the wrist swelling, which is normal. Rather than take it off, you can simply loosen it to the next hole, or if you have the link bracelet, add another link to the little finger side and get used to wearing it that way (it'd waver between being a bit loose and fitting just right depending on the time of the day).

Good to know Jay but I have to wear my watch as tight as possible. It's very irritating to have any looseness. I've worn watches my whole life and it's always been that way but only with the Apple Watch have I experienced this "wrist swelling".

Do you have the Sport model? Perhaps it's from the fluoroelastomer band not allowing your skin to breathe rather than wrist swelling?

If so, you can remedy this by switching to a different band.

I really can relate to to this... I've worn a watch most of my adult life and do not like having any wiggle room with the watch. I won't wear it overly tight, but I want no movement or sliding. As the day goes on, the watch usually tightens more which is normal but also depends on the band. No issue with me or my wrist.
