It's BC through streaming. By the sounds of it you still have access to your games and on more devices, it'll just be done by streaming. Which could be tolerable.

I really need to see the BC on gaikaii in action on both the Vita and PS4. If Sony is to be believed the PS4 at its core was made with the Vita in mind and I'm hoping to really take advantage of this feature.

This may be a dumb question, but where is the PS4's disc drive? Is it slot-loading like the older PS3 models? There seem to be ports where I first expected it to be... 😕

Yeah, there's a slot-loading drive, it's just really hard to see. This is the best image I could find, from the Official UK PS site (click to enlarge):

Going by the size of the slot, you can see that the console is quite sleek; it's certainly smaller than I was expecting.

from the dimensions it is about the size of the PS3 Slim ...

considerign that they have 1/3 less volume than the xbox one _and_ the psu includedi hope they aren't running into any head problems

None of the 8th are. Hell, the Wii isn't even BC anymore.
