About the Apple Stickers....
Sorry to go back to apple stickers thing, Do every one gets an apple sticker when they get an iPod?
The other day I saw a car with a reguar size apple sticker and another next to it about 2/3 the size... are there smaller ones?
Well if every one gets a sticker that would explain a bunch of old and cheap cars with the apple logo.
Buying a $200 ipod is not the same as buying a $2000 laptop. They dont deserve the sticker.
Going back to the thread, just get the MBP. You get the best of both worlds.

Get MBP. You an run both Mac OSX and Windows XP on MBP. But if you get Sony Viao, you can only run Windows XP. As a smart consmer, you should be able to make the correct choice. MBP seems to be more of a value bu compared to ony Vaio.

Really?
- Having to maintain two OS's.
- Half-assed weight for portability.
- Half-assed size for portability.
- Low tolerance against temp changes and other performance issues.
I can tell you that my SZ4VW - and to an even larger extent the G11VN - spends most of it's time outside. The Macbook Pros spend most of their time inside.

yes, 2 regular sized apple stickers came with my 30gig ipod, the same ones included with my blackbook.
question: do u think a car defines the person driving it?
Not really, well may be if you can afford to express yourself. I Own a Hyundai Santa Fe and a Kia Spectra and although I like them I dont think they define me. This are cars that I have been able to afford, I cant afford the luxury of expressing myself.
Now If I could I would get a Cadillac, A Volvo or a Mercedes, but even then what would I be expressing?
Get the MacBook Pro because Macs are better. This is a mac site and almost all of the people will recommend a mac.
Im dominican but i dont live there anymore and i know a lot of people who have macs there. everyone else has crappy old compaqs.
Wow! That's surprising! I figured that Macs being a premium would be rare in your old country. Actually, I wonder what countries (outside the USA) have a lot of Mac users. I know Australia does but I'm not aware of another large group of Macers.
