I need to handle one first. Gizmodo complains it's almost TOO small, and the nub/buttons aren't fantastic :(

Yea, I'm troubled...and my hands are on the larger side

And then Kotaku gives the buttons a positive response

On the more positive side, the PSP Go's d-pad and face buttons—square, circle, triangle, X—feel more precise, more "digital" than the squishier controls on the original PSP. They feel really tight.

I'd love to get my hands on a demo or something...I'd rather not wait until Oct, if I'm going to end up buying a 3000(my 1000 is on its last leg, Wi-Fi and USB support are both dead, and volume doesn't work unless headphones are plugged in..and its a PAL unit, while I'm in North America)

Oh, Sony...at least the system seems to have life in it yet! RE:portable, LittleBigPlanet(old news, but I'm still eager)...heck I might even pick up GT:pSP and Metal Gear

I've been the first guy in line to get a lot of Sony gaming devices. When I was in grad school, my roommate and I camped out overnight at a Best Buy in the middle of nowhere West Virginia with a 150 other gamers. When the PSP was released, I had one shipped to me in the Sudan by a long, tortuous and circuitous route that went from (I kid you not) Tokyo, DC, Geneva, Dubai, Nairobi, then Kampala and eventually to Juba, South Sudan.

PSPGo? This time, I'll pass.

There's a couple things I want out of a portable PSP type gaming device and the PSPGo missed on several of those fronts.

1.) Big local cache. 16GB? Sorry, no. 30 GB would have been the beginning of acceptable.
2.) MS Micro? Repeating the same mistake since Beta.
3.) Single analog stick?!?!?!?

1 and 2, I know aren't as big of a deal for most other people but 3. Wow. Seems to me that more than any other feature, PSP gamers have been screaming for dual analog sticks/nubs.

I can forgive the other stuff but for me to be remotely interested in a PSP for 249USD, it needed dual analog. For a $249 device, it needs to replace my PSP, not supplement it. What about my library of 40 UMDs? If there's no way to get those onto my PSPGo, I don't see the point.

loved the show even happier to hear Metal Gear Rising isnt just for 360 Metal Gear Peace keeper looks amazing for a psp game im intrested to see Little Big planet. GOW MAG Heavy Rain look amazing and there is a un announced PS3 exclusive being announced at 745 pst time tommorow

I know I'm going to get flamed but....

GOW disappointed me a little. I couldn't quite figure out why, but after some reflection I think its simply a case that GOW & GOW2 were so incredible and pushed the PS2 hardware so far into the stratosphere compared to everything else, that GOW3 on PS3 just looks simply like a higher resolution version. Now that's not a bad thing, but I just didn't get the impression watching it that this was in anyway, shape or form a NEXT GEN GOW3. It was pretty much same old, same old. No new mechanics, no new surprises, and just not as awe inspiring spectacle as I found GOW/GOW2 to be.

As for best show this year. I'd say Microsoft won it for me. Natal was the only thing on show that looked truly NEXT GEN / NEW / INNOVATION / THE FUTURE. Whether it works, ever lives up to it's promise - we will see. But it was the stand out moment of E3 for me. Sure Sony have some great games coming, but again in regards to 'exclusivity' of things like Agent and FFXIV then I've been around the block too long to believe blanket statements, especially ones that lack concrete details. "Available only on PS3 2010' does not mean it will never appear on anything else. I'm sorry but in Press Speech, Semantics DO count.

for FFXIV: kotaku already mentioned that it will be also available on the PC for it being a MMPORG

i hate this press conference speeches with "exclusive" etc. only to find it out it's exclusive for a month, still gets a PC release...

This statement goes for MS as well with all the "Only on Xbox360" talk going and we all see how that turns out.....so expect games like Splinter Cell Conviction to be on the PS3 6 months to 1 year later.

I would love that. The game looks awesome. Finally another game that makes me jealous of xbox owners! :D It's really the only one though, now that Bioshock is on PS3.

GOW looked awesome, imo. The crazy battle in the background was sweet. The demo wasnt near as awesome as the trailer released a while ago where Kratos is fighting on the Earth Titan's back. Thats the video that makes GOW look next-gen.

Natal looked really glitchy when they guy was moving his avatar. They also didnt have very good software to demo it with. Sony's motion sense demo had great software to show it off.
I'm just remembering back to 2007 when the Xbots were screaming "its all about the games," and now Sony has a huge lead in software titles for the ps3.

Did anyone notice Playstation Store has changed...slight redesign, sounds and most importantly its FASTER. I downloaded RE: Directors Cut and The Last Guy and the store moved extremely fast...good work.

lets get this same sort of enhancements to PSN/XMB and I'm a happy camper.

Note: Uncharted 2 beta is really fun:D

Oh I agree completely. I wasn't just saying it about Sony but exclusivity full stop :)

7:45pm? Ok, I'll watch out when I get home from work!

New DDR game coming to consoles. This is moar like it, you can keep your guitar games... I want me some thinly veiled line dancing simulation. Surprised its not coming to the Wii. I'd pay through the nose for a good DDR Wii game (since it's in the living room opposed to my Xbox).

So who else thinks that ModNation Racers looks really cool? It's like a LittleBigRacer, only making the levels actually looks really easy and fun. I've always wanted another game like "4D Sports Driving"!

I'm actually interested in DJ Hero, Activision seem to have capture the feel of DJ'ing and the track listing looks cool. I'm reading a lot of negative comments about it because it is focused on Hip Hop/Pop.

Finally they have a game that where I can live out my DJ'ing dreams....not all of us want to be Rockers:D

It looks okay. The problem with games like this is all the tracks might look the same. I hope they have some really interesting track pieces and allow for insane amounts of variety otherwise one rubbish forest track is going to play just like another rubbish forest track.

But I hope the game itself plays really well (looks to) and that the pro-designed courses are decent. That's what I'm mostly interested in.

I'm interested. I can spend hours playing games like these as long as the editors are robust and easy to use.

Trackmania was fun, RollerCoasterTycoon3's editor is top notch, mix the two and add some cutesy peeps = ModNation Racers.

But as Jimmi says - as long as every track people create don't start looking identikit, that will be the real test.

Check it out! There will be some way to get some of your UMDs on your Go!

That news on UMD to digital copies is interesting...wish we had some specifics, but it would be nice if we had firm details, so I could buy a PSP-3000 sooner rather then later(or know to wait)

Unforunately it doesn't sound as simple as it could be. I hope they fully announce the method of transferring games across soon, its definitely one of the reasons stopping me from getting a Go (as well as the M2 and ergonomics).

PSP Go price in the UK?

£ 229.99 (about US$ 370).
Can we say OUCH? Thats around the price for a 360 Elite and only a couple of games away from a PS3! Meh. Guess I won't be getting one now.
