So will this update include many bug fixes, or is it just implementing iCloud into it? What did the developers have to say about it?
Maybe he means you can check for updates to iTunes using the "Check for updates" in the drop-down menu below "iTunes" in the menubar.

ok thanks for reply ill just keep checling here and there througout the day!!! On another note i upgraded my phone last week with the ios5GM any ideas if my itunes will update to the official release or probbably have to get off the net and do a restore witht he official?
Good lord, what is it with you update monkeys? It's just an x.x.2 update.
It will be out when its out. No need to ask when, because when its out, you'll see it in software update. Not before.

With iOS5, iCloud, OSX x.2 all being thrust upon the fankiddies at once... there will be many misplaced orgasms mingled with a few coronary problems today.
If you think about it, most of these posts are of no serious importance, but that's the point of a forum, right? There are experts/developers/whatever here to answer questions that others don't have the answers to and give advice. It's not hurting anyone. And people have "inside" information, which they might share.
I'm anxious for 10.7.2 because I assume it's needed for iCloud. With the current version of Lion, the iCloud site tells me to come back running iOS 5 or.. Lion, which I'm running.
We like them bananas, that's why.
I don't know what your experience with Lion has been like but in my case I have severe problems with Mission Control (sudden loss of main desktop, only reboot solves the problem; windows placed on top of each other in expose etc) and sudden beach ball parties.
Safari acts up so much that I've stopped using it for Chrome.
It could have been a x.x.x.2 release and I would've still waited with baited breath in hope for these bugs to be resolved.
But hey, my fault for being triggerhappy, instead of waiting for a 10.7.3-4 release or whenever the kinks are usually ironed out in the history of OS X.
I am only anxious to get it so that the iCloud update will work with mail.app.

that would be awesome to work it together with ichat! would be a neat surprise to see it on 10.7.2 today!

You will have to manually install 10.7.2 from either the dmg or through software update. It doesn't install by itself.
