I've had my iPhone 6 for 14 days now and love it, but like so many people here wish I would have gotten the 6+ instead. So, just when I was ready to pull the trigger for an exchange at my local Apple store before the 14 day limit on exchanges there is no stock on 6+'s. Bummer, but maybe I can give the 6 to my wife and get a 6+ later.

Cool story, bro.

But seriously, good luck with getting a Plus. You won't regret it :)

Oh man that sucks. You should have returned the phone before your 14 day was up.

Yeah, you're so right. When I checked stock a week ago there had 6+'s in stock. I think I assumed stock would improve from there.

You could always take it in right now and tell them your story. They might still exchange it for the restock fee. Stranger things have happened.

I feel your pain. I had to return my 6+ to Apple when I noticed my 6+ was bent. After sending pictures of my 6+ to an Apple Specialist friend of mine, who then showed it to a genius that said he would charge me the replacement fee (not a free replacement as some others receive), I decided to return it without telling them about the bending issue. I wanted to bring it to the genius bar and tell them the truth so I could be another one of the "9 out of 10 million," but I didn't want to leave it up to luck to get a (rightfully deserved) free replacement.

The point of my post? Now I have to use my "old" 5S until the new 6+ I ordered gets here. Now it feels like I'm using a Tic Tac for a phone.

Poor lost souls given a choice don't know what to do. Thankfully Apple prepared us somewhat with the Air vs. mini.

I think the 6+ is awesome but the 6 was right for my day to day.

In your whole calculation planning of the return you didn't keep in mind that possibly they wouldn't have any in stock lol?

Yep, hilarious. Yes, I took that into account, as I said above when I checked a week ago AT&T stock was plentiful, but when I finally made the decision to switch that was no longer the case. I had a high school teacher who was fond of saying "you think long, you think wrong."

Yup! Shoulda pulled the trigger then! Oh well, the 6 is still a good phone (Although the 6+ is superior :p)

Hahaha, I totally hear you. When I hold my old 5 it feels like a kid's toy after having the Plus.

Can't you just ask for your money back and then buy 6+?

So many stories and not one photo. No trolling or anything, but why would you buy another one if the first one got bent? Seems odd

BTW. You could have also returned your 6, purchased another 6 to restart the 14 day return period to give yourself some breathing room to wait for the 6+.

Not sure if that would have been the case because I got the 6 on the AT&T NEXT plan.

Sure. Because when you return an Iphone to Apple they don't look at at the phone to make sure nothing is wrong with it. I am raising the B.S flag! Who is with me?

Just curious - why?

I've had every iPhone since the 3GS.. And when I originally bought the regular 6.. It felt like "home" if that makes any sense. I thought I wanted a new experience and a phablet, turns out.. I use my phone one handed a lot more than I thought.. Don't get me wrong.. The 6 plus is a freakin awesome phablet.. But I felt like I was holding a mini every time I used it..

I want a portable pocket computer in a phone. I don't want the same in a phablet... That's just me though. I have ATT next 12 though. Ill see how I feel come September again.

Yea it works best if you exchange it for a different color too.

You can try returning at Apple still. Often the managers are willing to make exceptions.
