OP, no sweat. I exchanged from 6 to 6+ on my last day. I love it but the regular 6 certainly has advantages over this 6+ including the critical portability factor. 6+ works for me and I'm likely keeping it, but there WILL be times where I'll be wishing I had a smaller phone..."grass is always greener" and all that. But if you're decided on a 6+, and if you're willing to pay, wait a week or two and buy the 6+ outright at full price. I'm sure this sensationalism will subside and you'll be able to stroll right in and pick one up. #

Also it looks like you mentioned AT&T Next, you may run into problem with that as well.

This is true.

When you return an iPhone on AT&T next, you have to wait till your next upgrade resets.

I was able to get a regular 6 on one of my lines - and them returned it because I Was on my last day of the 14 days to return. The reset didn't happen right away for me so I got the 6 plus on my second line - and then returned that one as well - they couldn't exchange any of my phones until AT&T resets the next. So now I have to wait till AT&T resets my lines so I can purchase the iPhone 6 again. Which I'm reading takes anywhere between 1 hour to a week.

Back to the 5 for now.

Oh, this is very helpful - thanks! I think I'm going to have to fallback on plan B, give the 6 to my wife and get the 6+ for myself outright.

That is interesting because when I did a return/exchange last monday, I got my AT&T next eligibility back right away. However on tuesday, I decided to return the phone as it had some pinkish tint, and buy another one at full price.

However after tuesday's return, AT&T next was not reset as I checked.

Yesterday, I had to go to both Apple and AT&T store trying to resolve this issue because I am NOT going to pay the installment fee for the phone that I have returned.

I chatted with AT&T today and was told that she sees it in her system that the phone was returned and that I purchased a full price. And she assured me that I would not be charged for the installment. So I asked her to write that on my case note so that if I do get charged then I have to right to get it waived.

Anyways, AT&T is telling me that they can't reverse the upgrade since I had it done at Apple, so that this is clearly an issue with Apple system. Apple is telling me that they can't do it because it is AT&T's issue. blah blah blah

Can't you just ask for your money back and then buy 6+?

So many stories and not one photo. No trolling or anything, but why would you buy another one if the first one got bent? Seems odd

I didn't know the phone couldn't even be kept in your front pocket without it bending, and according to Apple, it should be able to withstand sitting in my front pocket, so maybe I received a defective unit. I've ordered a rigid case for the new one. Why return it? Because I was still within the return window. Had I not been, I would've taken my chances with the genius bar.

Sure. Because when you return an Iphone to Apple they don't look at at the phone to make sure nothing is wrong with it. I am raising the B.S flag! Who is with me?

I bent it back genius– it's not difficult, that's for sure. Of course, it wasn't completely straight when I returned it, but if they start testing phones for bending, then they're actually admitting that the phone is prone to bending. It's a catch 22 for them.

Just a hint for those with att next and worrying about it not reseting right away... Call them!! They can manually do it through their system while you are on the phone so you don't have to wait for their computers or IT. Department to get to it. It worked for me when i wanted to exchange my 6 plus right away.

Funny, as I lay here reading this, I remember that I am using my 6 plus instead of my iPad sitting to my left on my bed.

This phone fills that gap for me, and it's enjoyable to say the least. I'm glad I got a 6 plus and didn't let everyone else's decisions dictate what I should do.

Use what's best for you OP, not what everyone else is doing.

I've had my iPhone 6 for 14 days now and love it, but like so many people here wish I would have gotten the 6+ instead. So, just when I was ready to pull the trigger for an exchange at my local Apple store before the 14 day limit on exchanges there is no stock on 6+'s. Bummer, but maybe I can give the 6 to my wife and get a 6+ later.

That's exactly why I went with the Plus right from the start and was glad that Apple launched both at the same time. I would not have been happy with the smaller phone.

So there's absolutely no chance of getting an exchange after the 14 days are up?

Hoping to get lucky and get a nice employee whos willing to let me exchange for a 6+
