He may get into trouble for posting company documents on a national forum. We don't want that. Thanks for all the info.

Bummer, I missed it. Anyone know what it said?

It had a table with model numbers and then size/color. and at the bottom it said something like "No iPhones will be available on launch day." And then something like we will let you know when shipments.. something.. It was cut off. But it DID say they wouldn't be available.

If that makes you feel better then thats fine, but there is no reason for me to lie, I want the phone just as bad a you guys haha.

My comment was in reference to the guy you spoke to. There are literally hundreds of conflicting statements from Best Buy, Apple, and AT&T employees that I just don't believe any of it.

no, we are the smallest modeled store in the company, so we aren't a high volume store. the report was sent a few hours ago so the stores may not even know about it yet if they haven't printed out the information.

The Richfield "Super Store" ? That has to be the smallest store, it doesn't even have a restroom for customers.

News like this if true will be reported by places like engadget soon. So guess till then, best buy people can do wishful thinking till otherwise told officially different by best buy or apple.

News like this will be reported by BB soon. I can't imagine the company would want to add further fuel to the fire by having a bunch of angry presale customers showing up and getting told they won't be getting their phones. Then telling them that BB has known this for a week.

well looks like im not getting the iphone on launch day. i wonder how long until apple will be able to send units out to other stores rather then att

serious dude? You act legit, then just fall out.. ?? Whats the deal?

there is nothing else to say. just like how radio shack isnt getting them anymore. just have to wait until they get shipped out to best buys.

FWIW, a friend of mine who USED to work WalMart got fired for doing something similar, posting pics of work documents on a forum, so I wouldn't disregard this guy for pulling the images.

They won't have to worry about that! They are supposed to call and set-up appointments. I sure hope that the next call I get from BestBuy is to schedule my appointment and not telling me I will not have a phone on launch day.

Lucky I saved the image, on the bottom it has "the material document is confidential to Bestbuy Mobile.Do not copy, publish or distrubute" lol

It looks legit, but Id feel bad if I got the guy fired

Paint your username all over it and PM it to me. I'm just concerned because I'm #3 on the Best Buy preorders for my store and want to know whether or not I can start ******** bricks.

He just pmed me not to post it but Id say its def legit from the looks of it, the fact he removed it almost instantly just confirms it, the letter leaves no doubt there will be none for launch allegedly.

If he is an employee he wouldn't have been allowed to get it on launch day anyway. I would like to see this "memo" if someone else posts it with the discriminating evidence removed there is no way he could get fired.

just make sure there is none of his or his stores info visible and post it there is no way he can get fired if you post it. Best buy employees leak stuff to giz and engadget all the time.

I saw it before he took it down. Could be legit, could be a fake. Honestly there wasn't much on it. Spreadsheet with various iPhone models. Then the statement that phones won't be available for launch, with more updates to follow from BB. Also he hand wrote in black ink "Mac Forums June 19" on it to date stamp it.

There was nothing about it that couldn't have been easily reproduced by someone at home with access to MS Word. Nothing on it that distinguished it as being from BB. I'm not saying the OP is making this up, but just some stuff to keep in mind when you considering what to make of it.
