Space Gray or Silver?(Poll)

I can't decide which one to get. Space gray looks really nice but silver is just classic.

I personally think dark colored electronics look sleeker, so I chose space gray because it's to darkest color. However I can see how silver is a classic choice.

Yup, I agree with all the posters picking space gray.

People are paying thousands of bucks for a MacBook. If you already own silver, why not change it up? It is like buying cars in the same exact color. I really wouldn't want to have the same-looking MacBooks after spending that amount of money. I also need a way to differentiate not just from the crowd sporting tons of silver MacBooks but from each other. Color coding.

Ordered the Space Gray myself. I love the silver look on Macs like the old Mac Pro and the iMacs, but personally feel it looks a bit barren on MacBook Pros. The shape of the new MBPs in particular go really well with the Space Gray color.

Need to see them both in person to know for sure, but I have a feeling I'd stick with the Silver option (not that it matters, way too expensive for what you get).

I actually like silver but chose to order space grey because I wanted something different and didnt want to regret getting the same old silver

I personally wanted a change of colour so i went with the space grey. But why did Apple only make one colour available couldn't they have released Gold, Rose Gold, etc they had so much time

It definitely smudges though. If that's something that bothers you might want to stick with silver. Otherwise I love it.

In its place is a glossy Apple logo in black on the Space Gray model and in white on the Silver model.

Can anyone confirm this? Do we have any side by side color comparison photos? Are the non-touch bar models already on display in the stores?

I ordered silver because the grey seemed a bit off to me, but in some other photos I'm seeing I quite like it!

I got my first MacBook in 2009 and since then I always had a silver one. I hate space grey on the iPhone, but after so many years it is time for a new color I guess.

I went in store today to look at the silver and gray MacBooks to make a decision. I went in thinking I'd prefer the gray but ended up choosing silver. The silver color looked classier to me when contrasted with the black keyboard and display bezel. The gray was too light-colored in my opinion, and didn't match the keyboard and bezels well. Had Apple gone with a much darker shade of "space gray" I would've gone for it. But the gray they chose I think looks kinda cheap.

I would recommend everyone look in store to make a decision. The images Apple has up on its website make the space gray look a lot darker than it actually is. (Unless they went with a darker shade than the MacBook that I don't know about?)

I went with Space Grey, but not liking the sound of this smudging business. Will have to see if that bothers me when I get mine.
