I don't understand how I received a confirmation email before all of those with recent charges and I've got no charges or status changes.

I checked my order status and it said the card could not be verified and to contact my bank. I called them and they said their authorization department blocked it and they transferred me and I waited 10 minutes and hung up. I ended up just going online and changing the card to a regular card and not apple pay and it went through. I called Apple Support and asked the guy and he said everything with the payment looked good and there shouldn't be any hold ups!

Same here. I used Apple Pay from the Apple Store App and got an email from Apple at 7:11PM PST that my card was declined. I called Chase, wasn't them.

I called Apple, they couldn't tell why it was declined. While I was on the phone I just entered a new card on Apple.com

To note: I restored my phone after paying for my Apple Watch via Apple Pay. On my new restored phone I didn't add the card to Apple Pay. I am curious if that effects the authorization.

Everybody, please say if it's 38mm or 42mm. I haven't seen as much movement on the 38mm watches, I don't think...

I take this back. I was finally charged at 10:03 PM EST and order info shows preparing for shipment. Order confirmation at xx:03:57. SG 42mm.

I am now officially stalking the UPS "Track by Reference" Page. Not preparing for shipping yet, but it seems that people's are flipping after about 30 minutes. I'm approaching 25.

I think how it works is you get a sort of ghost debit card number that is linked through Apple to your real debit card. So if you reset your Apple Pay you probably got a different ghost card number tied to your account and when Apple tried to charge you, the numbers didn't match up.

I would agree. If Apple Pay was restored or changed, I believe it changes all of the one time authorization numbers.
