I don't understand how I received a confirmation email before all of those with recent charges and I've got no charges or status changes.

To all those that just got skipped - I'm pretty sure its by region and time ordered. Thats the only thing that would make any sense. So if your local hub just got a shipment in, then whoever is closest with the earliest time gets charged.
