From the people who got progress on their orders tonight, what shipping time frame did you guys have?

4/24-5/8

------

West Coasters - Plane landed in Ontario a few minutes ago. Hopefully we get some tracking numbers in the next hour or so! I know some people did Wednesday night once the plane landed via the "Track by Reference". Hopefully that goes live for us!

You must be new to this thread. Most of us have it figured out down to the second, as we all ordered between 12.01.00 and 12:04:50.

No, I've posted before and to plenty of the other threads here as I work for UPS.

Check my other posts about my email to Tim Cook as well as the call I received from his executive response team less than 24 hours later.

Was my moving to preparing for shipping a result of my initiative? Very doubtful (more than likely no way...) but I learned enough in that phone call to sit on my hands and wait and it paid off.

I learned that these coveted email times that everybody is living and dying on mean absolutely zilch. I got an email at 3.04 am. You know what time my purchase hit Apple's order server? More than an hour later. It was spooling through the system until it got through the backlog of the entire planet ordering watches. The time of my email doesn't count. The time my request landed in the order queue does.

Check around the other threads. People contacting Apple are getting that same response.

Dude that would be awesome.

Tell me about it. I intercept all my packages at work, and I really don't want this one to be an exception.

Since you work for UPS, do you think we'll we Saturday delivery?

OMG!! Finally got charged... Preparing for shipment now. Ordered 4-10 12:03:58 confirmation for space gray aluminum 42 mm black sports band.. Still waiting for my ss 42mm bsb with order confirmation at 12:05:00.

Since you work for UPS, do you think we'll we Saturday delivery?

Depends:

**If Apple specified Saturday deliveries, then trucks will roll with the items.

**If you were supposed to get a watch on Friday and for whatever reason you missed the driver and requested it be held at the customer counter for pickup, AND that customer counter is open on Saturday (all the hours vary - some hubs are open as little as two hours), you can get it on Saturday.

If you're scheduled for Monday, and it's showing on UPS as received, you won't get it early. It's going to sit in a secure truck and not even unloaded until Monday morning.

So, will I get mine tomorrow? Leaning toward no on that one. There's no shipping information, no tracking numbers, there's no reference check result on the UPS site when I track by my TN. My guess is my watch is sitting in a distribution center and won't be picked up and start moving until later Saturday to get to me in time for Monday.

You would think with a big launch like this and the demand that they would have Saturday delivery.... Hoping hahha. Mine was scanned in Louisville an hour ago.. So I'm hoping it gets to said hub and I'll get it trmw...

I appreciate the additional information you probably have because of your work at UPS, but there is no way what you are claiming about email confirmations is accurate. There is way too much evidence showing the progress of orders shipping in line with delivery of confirmation emails for that time stamp to not matter at all. With a few exceptions, it has progressed almost perfectly. And it's been far more predictable than the sporadic and conflicting responses from Apple representatives.

Believe what you need to. Personally, I'll take the word of somebody on Tim Cook's executive response team over some of the speculations I've seen on here.

I agree with adunto. I don't care if you got info directly out of Tim Cook's diary, the evidence is very clear. If you've followed this thread and others, it is obvious that the watches are shipping in the order received, with the variables being the watch configuration you ordered, and the country you ordered from. There are very few exceptions.

The first status changes were to people who got email confirmations in the first minute or two after 12am PST. Then people who ordered early in the third minute were next, and it has moving from there. It's been very predictable.
