42 Space Gary 3:05.17
Still Processing

You would think  would had an idea this would be a very popular model, not complaining just saying as this seems to be the one with the least movement. Sigh

I am wondering if they are starting to mass produce these in China the past few weeks and they will be coming in by the plane load in the next few days. I could see apple wanting to flood the market with these to avoid people putting them on eBay.

I received my watch yesterday (North Jersey) Apple, had sent me an email this morning at 2:00. It said congrats on being one of the first to own apple watch. I received SG 42mm SB version.

I went into the Apple Store in Paramus (NJ) today, and they could not tell me about the auto dim feature on it, and why when you plug in the charger, the watch won't allow you to shut it off. The options to turn the watch off for charging is grayed out. So it literally stays on while charging. There is no way to shut it down completely. Also, in a dark room, the watch will dim its display, and when out or in a brighter room, it turns up the brightness. There is no way to shut this feature off.

The Apple Store employees and everyone there crowded me, they never seen one in person before, they said. Everyone they have is set to be in display mode only. The watch doesn't have on all of the features. I literally had every Apple staff member around me asking about it. And people that came to try their pre-ordered model on. They said they studied for months, but there was no answers to these two questions. They were great, and I didn't have to make an appointment. They saw my watch and VIP'd me right in to the watch geniuses. They were like "hey your a celebrity now".
Overall, I am happy with the watch. I've tried a lot of things with it, and it still has a lot of things to still try out. The manual is like 100-pages, and that still doesn't cover everything.
I hope everyone gets theirs this coming up week. It is so much fun to have, and makes me wonder what the f@($ were some of these journalists talking about. Yes there is always a good and bad to everything. But there is so much more good, and potential for this watch, than any other.

Also in Philly area with nothing. Apple Live chat has my order placed xx:04:05 and my confirmation is 5 seconds later and still processing. FRUSTRATING!

Are you trying to hurt us?

Mine just changed to: "Preparing for Shipment"!
I ordered the Apple Watch Sport 42mm Space Gray Aluminum Case with Black Sport Band @ XX:04:32

I'm also hopeful for a delivery sometime this weekend! :D

EDIT: I just checked Bank of America online banking and confirmed my card also just got charged as well!

Mine just shipped! :D
I received the shipment notification e-mail at 6:21am PDT (I was still asleep)
Estimate arrival date: 4/27 (Monday)

Are you trying to hurt us?

Absolutely not. I didn't get anything until the night before. Thursday was like all at once. So I understand what everyone's going through. It was more of an informative post. When you get your watches, the geniuses may not have the answers, and when you get yours, you will be satisfied with it. It's totally a different expirence when it's yours, tailored to your liking. :apple::cool:
I'm not a bully, man. Just sharing, that's all.

Just got a shipment notice for 38mm SG. Order email time stamped 2:02. Delivery to Texas. Can't get the tracking number to work for UPS but it was only 90 min ago. Anyone else have this problem? Assuming Monday delivery. It sounds like there is a lot of movement now so hopefully every will have there products by end of the week. Hang in there everyone!

That happens for a few hours. Once it's through the system, you'll see everything, and when it's supposed to be delivered. That happened to me on Thursday. By midday, everything was accessible.

But, by the time I get my watch, I won't be a celebrity. I won't get to walk into an apple store and have everyone cheer like I'm a somebody. I'll just be a nobody with an apple watch. It'll be like when De Niro comes home in Deer Hunter… I'll just sneak off to a local motel and someone will play some sad guitar music.

I have had a few products with the AMOLED screens that had the auto dimming feature and there was absolutely no way to turn it off. It was very annoying that I couldn't get a steady bright display. The PS Vita and the Blackberry Q10 were the 2 products that had this issue. It's basically just a way to save battery life and it sucks that they don't give the consumer the option to disable it.

I agree. It looks really nice at its full potential, I just wish it would stay that way regardless of what lighting is around me at the moment.

Mine is in transit now as well. UPS tracking page says Scheduled Delivery Information is unavailable. Mychoice is still saying Tuesday EOD.

Debating changing to hold for pickup to maybe freeze it at the CC on Monday?

Pickup at the counter means no waiting on the driver. There's no telling where you'd be in his load or what time you'd get the delivery. Even before I worked for UPS I always held at the counter to save the hassles. I don't transfer to a UPS store because there's too many variables and the possibility that the store you choose is not serviced by the hub the package is held at. It'd have to transfer hubs and could add a day of transit.

UPS knows we're ALL drooling for these watches and nobody here wants to disappoint a fanboy.

lots of 42mm confirmations, doesn't seem like there's many 38mm going out :(

If I got mine next week that'd be great, but with all the lack of SG's going out (from what it seems) I doubt that will even happen...

Anyone in the Midwest area had any movement on 42mm Space Gray Sports with black band at all today? My email conf came in at 3:04:11 AM EST, but hard telling if that's when it actually hit Apple's system.
