Just got charged. Preparing for shipment

Got charged this morning. Now preparing for shipment.

Model: 42mm sg sport
Receipt from Apple xx:04:56
Order window: 5/13-5/27
Destination: Dallas, TX
 
Overslept and placed my order at xx:18. So 18-min past preorder opening bell. Denver, CO.
42mm Space Gray + Black Sport Band = June delivery.
Upon ordering, I scheduled a try-on appointment for 11:45am that same morning. After said appointment was complete - and unbeknownst to my wife - at about 1pm, I also ordered her the following:
38mm Silver + White Sport Band = June delivery.
To date, I have seen zero changes to either order. Both have been "processing items." Until 52 minutes ago. 🙂

My wife's 38mm Silver + White Sport Band has been charged to my credit card and the status has updated to "preparing for shipment." Not that it hasn't now been suggested a gazillion times, this is more evidence that the sport gray appears to have seen both the most interest from customers and been the most challenging to produce in acceptable-to-ship quantities. While selfishly bummed my wife's will arrive (allegedly) several weeks ahead on mine, I'm honestly glad to see some traction. Plus I think she'll get a kick out of - for once - being the cutting edge in our household. 🙂

Hope this helps some make a little more sense of their orders.

Put it this way. Expect the worst (June) but at the rate they are churning them out you probably will see it in May... But that's just my guess.

Yeah it is all conjecture at this point. We don't really know at what point they charge. based on what other people say thought they are labeled in China packed on pallets and the shipped to the U.S. Where they are broken up and shipped to individuals. So it could all be based on how they are placed on pallets which would explain why the time ordered seems to be a good indicator of order but not perfect.
 
Those who have gotten charged, do you think we'll see tracking information tonight (Sunday) or on Monday when the business week starts again? I'm hoping for tonight but it is a Sunday...

Shipping updates for my SG 42 BSB. It is now saying that it is in Louisville and I assume will be leaving sometime soon to head west!

I did get an interesting email last night. Apparently Apple is offering live video personal setup online? They can show you how to set it up, download apps and answer any questions like a regular personal setup appointment. I won't need this because I'm pretty sure I've watched every video on the internet and also a young techie LOL. But I thought that was pretty cool.

Cool app, but it's a bit misleading quoting that days countdown. Apple could very well fulfill your order before that clock runs down.

I do expect that, but it's still very depressing seeing 30+ days there.

I'm hoping for Monday delivery and to get tracking number by later this evening. Although more likely is tracking tomorrow and delivery Tuesday.
