But I am thinking most - if not all of the 06/07ers will have hands on by the end of next week.

very wishful thinking.

Wishful thinking, but any movement for someone who had ordered on April 11 (Saturday)?

:(

We're still talking about days of waiting for people who ordered mere minutes after the orders were open, so you probably have a good wait ahead of you :(

xx:15 here. realistically, i think it will be another 3 weeks.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I would tend to think the backlog of purchasers is most dense in the minutes just after time zero (12:01 am Pacific). It stands to reason that the order-per-minute density is going to decrease at some point after time zero and before the rest of the rational-minded, less obsessed woke up on the Eastern seaboard to purchase watches in the morning.

This thinking of course only pertains to US National purchasers...

Maybe an hour in there is a taper, but probably not only 15 minutes in. That's not very long and some were still trying to get into the website to make the purchase. Also, what matters to the shipping order is when Apple actually processed it, not when it was placed. I imagine their servers were cranking full-tilt processing initial orders for a good hour or two. There are a LOT of Apple fans on this planet all trying to get on at once to make the purchase.

I could be wrong (I hope so). Not feeling it though. I'm xx:12 and while I have some hope for early shipping, I'm hunkering down for a few weeks wait.

Or you could argue the exact opposite. For instance, only a minority got up and ordered right when the watches went on sale, and the majority waited until the morning, which would lead to slower processing as time progresses. Unfortunately, we will likely never know the answer. Even if they are able to start sending out shipments faster, there will be no way to know if that's because they're getting to the point in time where there were less orders or production was able to pump out more watches.

Preparing for shipment! :) but don't know when it happened
